No civilized country would intentionally light that explosion off in a densely populated area.

The only state party that might do such a thing is Israel, they have the most to gain.

Just speculating. Trump said it's an attack, but was not specific if it was "terrorism". The whole thing stinks of stupidity, storing the ANFO there.

A Senator who was in the briefing with Trump the day of the Lebanon explosion said the President's desire to be transparent to the American people, is sometimes too extreme.

I guess I should just edit my previous post on the subject, but yes...it would be SOP for Hezbollah to stash weapons in the most dangerous place in terms of collateral damage, to deter such an attack. Exactly the reason the AMFO was purposely left in the warehouse for years. This is what I meant about Israel being involved.

It was definitely a 2-stage fire/explosion. The ANFO appears to gotten heated and stirred like a nice lentil soup, then touched off. All of those smaller munitions were going off 50-60 ft in the air in a sustained manner, perfect ignition source, but not big ballistic missile warheads, more like RPGs or portable AA or specifically as igniters for this monstrous crockpot bomb.
