President Trump announced this major action while in Florida today..

(REUTERS) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday he will sign an executive order on immigration in the next few weeks with a road to citizenship for migrants who are in the United States illegally but arrived in the country as children.

This is good news. I think there are approximately 2 million "dreamers" living in the USA.

President Obama left them in citizenship limbo...as illegal aliens. Democrats in Congress never follow-up on their promise to provide them with a path to citizenship.

Thanks to President Trump, they will now be afforded that opportunity!

In an interview with Spanish-language TV network Telemundo, Trump said one aspect of the measure will be Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), the program under which such migrants have been allowed to stay in the United States temporarily. "We're going to have a road to citizenship," he said.

He made a good faith proposal early on, which was summarily rejected by dims because they preferred the talking point, rather than solving the issue.

He said he would sign whatever was put before him. He didn't. He lied.

I think this is a good idea. I'm glad he is doing it. I've often thought about the issue and didn't ever really know what could be done to remedy the situation.

The President wanted to give Democrats a chance to stick the feather in their own hat, since they've been promising a path to citizenship for over 6 years.

If you recall, Nancy Pelosi spoke on the House floor for 9 hours straight, she felt so strongly about enabling citizenship for this group.

Trump said, I'll give it to you, if you give me $4 Billion for the US-Mex border wall to safeguard American citizens from south-of-the-border criminals. Nancy said, "Nope!"...and walked away.
