The reason why it's far and above the better version than the original is the feeling, the emotion that aught to have been in the original. THAT'S why it brings people to tears.

It really must be based on how our brains process sound uniquely as I find the Disturbed version soulless compared to the original.
Guess that goes for any music, artform, politics, pretty much everything once I think about it.
