Not really, no. We are as dependent upon the rest of the world as they are of us. Our economy is affected by what happens in the rest of the world. Even if the pandemic did not hit us at all, we would be hurt by it.

Trump has been isolating the US more and more. We used to have friends, there are fewer now. That will prove to be problematic. Remember 911, and what happened afterwards? I don't think we can expect that sort of support any more.

Isolationism is not a good plan. It's actually no plan. It's a surrender. Of influence.

US foreign policies under Obama made us the laughing stock of the world, at least Trump is not letting nations take advantage of us anymore, well most of them anyway.

The one example Trump needs to learn about and hammer on is Turkey. Erdogan is another Hitler, was directly responsible for ISIS and its so blatantly obvious every NATO member should vote them out immediately. He and Obama were directly responsible for the so called Arab spring. The Muslim Brotherhood is based out of Turkey, it has been forever. When the MB were able to take control of Egypt's government and then be supported by Obama 100 percent most people were dumbfounded because the brotherhood had always been listed as a terrorist organization.

Thankfully they screwed up letting a private meeting be seen on live TV causing the people to flip out and demand that the military remove them from the country. It was after that, Erdogan and his brother went completely nuts. They had just lost the massive army they needed to easily take back their wet dream of a new Ottoman Caliphate. They went after Iraq and Syria to loot and spoil, then Libya when they could not get all of Iraq.

Everywhere ISIS has had a spanking, Turkish regular troops have tried to intervene. Turkey has now bit off more than they can chew in Libya. Egypt is pissed and about to blitz Libya, to run the Turks and their ISIS crack heads back into the sea.


If Nations do not want to be true friends with the US, just because they have to pay their fair share then they can go suck off someone else. Not one nation out there is truly friends with the other at the moment.

Every nation out there stabs the other in the back one way or the other.

What our so called friends intelligence agencies did to Trump was highly screwed up. ( THE ATTEMPTED COUP ) All because he wasn't in the circle of scumbags that have been destroying America for the last 50 years.

That reminds me of the kind of discourse we had back in the early 2000s, with Clinton and Bush standing in for Obama and Trump. Now, as then, you might want to check, rather than assume, what the rest of the world thinks.

The US has lost a lot of leverage, a lot of soft power, over the last 20 years but the bigger economies and nations are now preparing for a world where the US is no longer the leader. Although nobody is assuming a vacuum, there is a lot of opportunity for moral, political and economic leadership at every level, from regional to global.

Russia and China are ahead of the game but the likes of Germany are getting in too. A good US president could stop the rot. A great US president could make America great again. A crap US president will sell you all out to his friends and retire to count his money while the rest of you stew.

Or you can ignore what strategic analysts know, you can ignore what the rest of the world thinks and stay angry in the echo chamber.
