Whether or not you can actually handle a weapon correctly, be it a "GIANT ASSAULT RIFLE" or a hand gun, it's perfectly in your right to wield it to protect yourself. If you shoot your foot off, or your spouse, it's all you but you still have that right to attempt to protect yourself.

If you pay attention, looks like some of the protesters have guns also. Me? They wouldn't have made it past the front gate.


Apparently these guys took a page from the liberal book and gave out the addresses of those who wanted to defund police. Isn't it GREAT how hypocrites are only ok when liberals do it?

I was hoping for a gun safety course followed by tactical rifle and pistol courses for both of them. Court Mandated if need be.

I've disarmed trained soldiers for being as careless during training. I took an Afghan commando's AK because he kept flagging me with it and then threw it out of the helicopter ahead of him when it was time to land, unloaded.

I don't effing play games with guns. I recognize both the right and RESPONSIBILITY associated with the ownership of firearms.

No wonder we are turning into a third world country right before our eyes... because we can't focus on what is most important

3rd world countries have untrained idiots with guns killing people all the time. Imagine what a little education might do for societies that lack it?

People attempting to enter their home. Any other questions? I will say it right now. If I saw a few hundred people in front of my house, any color, with what has been going on and what they were yelling I would shoot the first one who came towards my home and then call my lawyer.

This is not protesting anymore and wait till the ones who do have training start picking these #heads off from their roof. At this point I could care less. No one is still marching for Floyd. CHOP/CHAZ has nothing to do with Floyd. Statues have nothing to do with Floyd. This has nothing to do with racism anymore because there are more whites out there than anyone else so....

My patience with all of this garbage is now at zero.

Side note - Gun training also does not make one an expert. You can go online now and get your CCW. The way they handled their weapons would be unacceptable in my house but it is their right.

You didn't have to specifically state that argument to imply it.
By focusing on their weapon handling, rather than the intent of the OP, the doxxing of this couple, you made it clear what is most important yo you.
While I agree everybody should have to take a gun safety course to leave their house with a weapon( inside is a different story),
That fact has little bearing on the intent of the OP

Nope.

They had every right to wield those weapons. If they had shot anyone, they would have had that right and justification to do so.

Look... I'm very much against taking life for most reasons but in this situation... There would have been a body count. Pure and simple.

It's ironic that citizens had been doxxed by the mayor which is what caused the protest to begin with.

Maybe there is a longer version of the video, because in the OP's video, the woman wasn't "waving" around her firearm recklessly.

This mob supposedly busted through the community's gate and began their BS.

Of course, this 60-something year old couple feared for their safety and that of their property. Unless your head has been in the sand for the last few weeks, we have all seen what these lunatics can do.

This couple was brave and right. I have no tolerance for thugs and thug-like behavior. They are taking this too far and common sense dictates that at some point, people are going to stand up to the bullies and hate-filled lunatics.

Castle laws are active where they are.

Protesters were ARMED and on their PRIVATE PROPERTY after busting through the gate on their private road.

Protesters were actively trying to tare down statues at this home that belonged to these lawyers.... LAWYERS. I'm pretty sure they were aware of the law.


Even yahoo said they were trying to destroy their private property and you can't get any more liberal than Yahoo.

I didn't read anything about them trying to get into the house. I only saw that they were on their property trying to take down their statues.
