Appeals court orders Flynn case dismissal, after years-long legal saga

The DC circuit court of appeals has granted the writ of mandamus from Flynn's lawyer. Judge Sullivan isn't being pulled off the case, but he's been given a good spanking; he's been ordered to allow the DOJ to drop the case, and the bullsh!t with amicus briefs and a court-appointed prosecutor has been ended.

Finally, some good news for a change. This never should have reached this point, but I'm glad that it's finally over. I hope he files a lawsuit against everyone involved.

Now that would be hilarious. The Supreme Court just recently ruled (unanimously, if I remember correctly) that amicus briefs are inappropriate in criminal cases.
