How could you take them seriously? You weren't allowed to see them and come to any conclusion about them.

One wonders if they're canceling everything with the pink triangle since the Nazi's used one of those too.

How was I condescending? I meant to assuage your fears and encourage people to respond to one another with the understanding that the fears we are all feeling, are 100% understandable even if they may be irrational. But, really? Who knows where we are headed, I feel like anything could happen, right now...I don't want anyone mocking my understandable fears.

You are the one that got snarky with the 'I'm not impressed by your vagueness comment' when it should have just been taken at face value.

You can try to redefine the argument, but the fact is that the inverted red triangle was, just like the Star of David and the Pink Triangle, used by the Nazis to mark prisoners in concentration camps as political enemies.

Very tricky language you are using here.

Star of David dates back to 14th-century Prague and was
one of the main symbols of Judaism.

The Nazi's didn't create it, so to say that the symbol is generally
used by Nazi's is complete disinformation.

Not even close.

Nice try though.

Semantics for the win!

Nazi symbolism cannot be posted here either or I would demonstrate graphically.

The Nazi badge to indentify Jewish enemies of the state was literally a gold Star of David with the word Jude inside it.

Anyone can Google it that doesn't already know that.

One might ask just how stupid could the Trump campaign committee be to use a symbol tied to Nazi concentration camps.
Who in the hell chose that to use as their symbol. Who in that campaign did not even notice it and just said, sure, let's use this. It's just dumb.

Or, it was virtue signaling to the far far right that he is still on their side. You suggest he might have used a square. Sure and likely we could find some nefarious uses of a square from past regimes. But for a guy whose followers all proclaim loudly that they are not nazi's and who all holler so loudly that calling Trump a fascist is completely wrong, this was at best a stupid blunder.

I know, seriously; you are 100 and 10% correct and thats like 10 more than 100%.

Who in their right mind wouldn't have known that a Red Triangle is a Nazi symbol? All non Nazis go to school for that kinda thing don't they? I know I did.

And thats essentially true for the Trump campaign who are constantly called Nazis by their opposition ... they of all people should know better.

I have a great idea; why doesn't everyone on that campaign team carry a binder with them of all the words and symbols used by a Nazi? Is that realy to much to ask?

Every time they want to do or say something they should thumb through their Nazi binder and evaluate if what they had planned to say or do is acceptable.

If they where really smart they could have translations in their Nazi binders .... next to the red triangle in the No column there can be a blue triangle in the yes column.

Or something like that ... the point being they should start caring binders full of Nazi symbols; that will fix up all of their problems.

Perhaps the ads calling for attacks on anyone via the pink triangle will be.

I bet you thought this was a very witty comparison.

This thread will turn into an immature locker room really soon. There's already comments leftist are scared of triangles. Those responses prove that Facebook did the right thing for once.

If it clearly was not a Nazi symbol then Republicans and Conservatives would say what the symbol is instead of making political jokes like the left is scared of triangles and tear down all the yield signs. That's just a shame honestly.

This is the Antifa symbol that incorporated
the actual Nazi triangle.

Just noting that if the Nazis used red triangles in the concentration camps and that makes them a Nazi symbol, then they used the pink triangle in the same manner, and it is a widely used symbol still today. Shouldn't it be banned for a Nazi symbol also?

Or is that magically different?

You're an intelligent poster; no need for disingenuous crap to defend Trump. He wasn't attacked, he'll just have to advertise with his Nazi symbolism somewhere else.

The Star of David is a Nazi symbol too?

Did anyone tell the Jews? They might want to know they are using a Nazi symbol; someone might mistakenly think they want to start concentration camps in the US.

I'm stating a very straightforward fact.

Facebook removed ads from the Trump campaign, Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence because they contained Nazi symbolism in conflict with Facebook's policies.

The golden Star of David was used in Nazi Germany to identify Jews as enemies of the state.

Are you trying to deny that?

I'm glad I didn't see them. I wouldn't want to turn into a Nazi inadvertently. Facebook did us all a great favor protecting us from the red triangle.

Your free to believe whatever lies you choose to believe.

Like the ADL, saying that using this symbol is hate speech.
What is the actual symbol LOL?

Its a freaking Antifa symbol itself.

Nice try but this is an epic fail.

You were condescending saying, "hey everyone, this is how you respond to people like game over man. Hey Game over man, we will figure it out for you since you can't."

I will say this post I'm replying to has a much more friendlier tone. I agree with you, anything can happen, especially now. Trump needs to be removed ASAP.
