You can try to redefine the argument, but the fact is that the inverted red triangle was, just like the Star of David and the Pink Triangle, used by the Nazis to mark prisoners in concentration camps as political enemies.
Very tricky language you are using here.
Star of David dates back to 14th-century Prague and was
one of the main symbols of Judaism.
The Nazi's didn't create it, so to say that the symbol is generally
used by Nazi's is complete disinformation.

One might ask just how stupid could the Trump campaign committee be to use a symbol tied to Nazi concentration camps.
Who in the hell chose that to use as their symbol. Who in that campaign did not even notice it and just said, sure, let's use this. It's just dumb.
Or, it was virtue signaling to the far far right that he is still on their side. You suggest he might have used a square. Sure and likely we could find some nefarious uses of a square from past regimes. But for a guy whose followers all proclaim loudly that they are not nazi's and who all holler so loudly that calling Trump a fascist is completely wrong, this was at best a stupid blunder.

Nazi symbolism cannot be posted here either or I would demonstrate graphically.
The Nazi badge to indentify Jewish enemies of the state was literally a gold Star of David with the word Jude inside it.
Anyone can Google it that doesn't already know that.

One wonders if they're canceling everything with the pink triangle since the Nazi's used one of those too.
Perhaps the ads calling for attacks on anyone via the pink triangle will be.
I bet you thought this was a very witty comparison.

You're an intelligent poster; no need for disingenuous crap to defend Trump. He wasn't attacked, he'll just have to advertise with his Nazi symbolism somewhere else.

The Star of David is a Nazi symbol too?
Did anyone tell the Jews? They might want to know they are using a Nazi symbol; someone might mistakenly think they want to start concentration camps in the US.

How could you take them seriously? You weren't allowed to see them and come to any conclusion about them.

How was I condescending? I meant to assuage your fears and encourage people to respond to one another with the understanding that the fears we are all feeling, are 100% understandable even if they may be irrational. But, really? Who knows where we are headed, I feel like anything could happen, right now...I don't want anyone mocking my understandable fears.
You are the one that got snarky with the 'I'm not impressed by your vagueness comment' when it should have just been taken at face value.
