IF the worst happens and ATS is no more... The Shed (and all of the other Good Bits) CAN CONTINUE...
It's the PEOPLE that make it what it is.
It's YOU and ME, ALL of US!
ATS is just a platform, a location for all of these wonderful souls to meet up.

It has been GREAT and I Thank and Applaud the ATS Owners, Admins, Mods, Staffers and MEMBERS for many MANY years of fun & frolics, conspiracy and chaos!
I hope and pray with all of my heart that the worst case scenario doesn't come to be...

BUT if it does, and you're looking for somewhere else to meet up... just pm me your email address and I'll send you (offsite) a link to a potential new home for us. (I help out there already with Admin and stuff...)

@Night Star - It makes sense to have a PlanB just in case, right?

Worst case scenario... we still have somewhere we can carry the shed-torch to???? Even temporarily??

You know, I've been considering (at a glacial pace) starting a firewood business. The prospect of making my own hours is appealing, of course, but I have always truly enjoyed cutting firewood.

How did you get into doing it? Did you lay out cash for a hydraulic splitter or any other special tools?

Night Star- in case of emergency (break glass) join the site Gordi is taking about and continue *the shed* there. You are one of the absolute BEST aspects of ATS. You're a big reason for why we are a family. A family of opposing views. We need you!

I finally noticed you were on there when I went down the member alphabet on that site LOL. It's still very small, but I'm glad the secondary back up is there. Who knows what will happen to ATS but it seems the owners are done.

In Dark mode, Gordis site isn't much different. But no "recent pages" to look for and other unfamiliar things like quoting text are not the same. BUT I'm impressed a similar place exists without the seemingly exaggerated costs to keep ATS afloat.

I guess as that site grows, we'll see.
