I think there could really be strong marketing opportunities for a site that retains the ability to speak outside the Approved Corporate-Political DoublePlusGood paradigm.

Dont even have to change the t&c's.

Has P2P hosting evolved any over the last few years??
My PC's are always on and could be a node, I'm sure plenty more people are the same.

Sorry bill I know you’re a busy man but out of curiosity what do you envision ATS “fading away” would look like?

Been a longtime member who took hiatus and recently became active again. This news is troubling, wish I had a better means to help but alas all I can do is implore my hope for a workable solution.

Hopefully there is a rich member of ATS looking for a new hobby , what about all the research that has been done over the years by members here will that just vanish ? .

Or go down a cheaper route like some other sites and use a bb board mybb.com... and donate if you want to use the search function , as others have stated try a Go Fund Me page

So burning it down in these times is just part of the logical progression.

ATS is a gold mine, literally. There’s a wealth of information here on ATS if you dig, its endless. I started here in 06-07ish and I’ve learned so much here.

No other force has influenced me and shaped my world views as ATS.

Each of our members has provided me with insight and a sounding board for my ideas. I coudnt be more grateful for what ive had.

Get Bigalow, or the guy who bought his ranch or Blink 1888888 guy, on board.
The amount of promotion they have had through ATS they must be game for funding it.

Even Elon Musk would throw some cash at you.

Hell, I dont post and I would pay to help keep the site up. I come here to get real responses from what shows up in the headlines. I have access to three local newspapers, and they all give the same garbage slant. Most of it comes from AP writers, and most.of them suck! I come here to get the truth from the posts!
Whatever is decided, this place will be missed by me if it goes away!!
