World War 3? India-China clash, North Korea, Chinese Jets in Taiwan & US fleet signal a dare possibility

After decades, a violent face-off at India-China border which has caused casualties on both sides hints on escalating tensions between two nuclear-armed neighbors. The scuffle took place in Monday night and caused the casualties on both the sides. According to reports media reports 5 PLA soldiers and 3 Indian Army soldiers among them one CO lost their lives.

India vs China

16th June 2020 - Well this is a significant escalation on the LAC border between India and China

Three Indian Soldiers Dead - 5 Chinese Soldiers Killed on LAC Border - Tensions Rising

India-China border news live updates: 5 died on Chinese side, 11 injured in Ladakh, reports say

One Indian Army officer and two jawans have died after clashes took place between India and China at the Galwan Valley region in Ladakh. The Indian Army confirmed the developments and issued a statement soon in the matter.

www.businesstoday.in...

I am hearing the number maybe significantly higher on the Indian side but waiting for confirmation on this. I am also hearing the a Major from the Indian Army is being held by the Chinese, but again these are unconfirmed reports.

North Korea vs South Korea

16th June 2020 - North Korea blows up joint liaison office with South in Kaesong

The move comes just hours after the North renewed threats of military action at the Korean border.

The site was opened in 2018 to help the Koreas - officially in a state of war - to communicate. It had been empty since January due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Covid-19 & The Protests

Q. With the world so fixated on Covid-19 in their own countries, are China and North Korea taking advantage of the situation?
Q. Are we heading for world Socialism or Communism?

www.wsws.org...

Q. Is there a chance things will deescalate?
A. Personally I don't think they can deescalate, I think there will be a tipping point in the very near future, maybe 1 or 2 months whereby the world spills over into war.

South China Sea

Currently things are heating up in the south China Sea also. Taiwan has recently fired "unidentified" missiles into the South China Sea and the US has deployed 3 Aircraft Carriers into the area.

Not the first for any of it.

Too right and it's gonna be the new frontier, two big New Kids on the Block who are both going through the growing pains stage.

BBC reporting they usually have fights literally with their fists on the border (wow), this time it gone a bit further

We have a good chance to pop the cork on the old nuclear war bottle. So many years it has been aging.
I grew up in the cold war, doing the hide under your desk drills. Everyone thought it would be the US and Russia going at it.

One problem with this scenario that is unfolding... how will the Democrats blame a Sino-Indian nuclear exchange on Donald Trump?

I hope WW3 isn't starting(even though I am still not convinced that it hasn't been going on since 911).

But the pandemic has really shown what a nasty side our species has-oppression has increased, violence against women/minorities has increased.Certain countries are using the pandemic to push into others territories, use economic warfare, slavery for gain in these times of trouble.
Certain countries are using the disease to ramp up the surviellance technocracy system to levels they have previously only dreamed of.

If I was an advanced alien looking at the humans,I would be tempted to vaporise the lot of them, and leave the planet to the animals.

Yeah that's what I heard, I mean they must have beaten each other to death.. Or maybe knives were used I don't know but it's really heating up. This doesn't look good at all.

Absolutely, I think the democrats have been working "inline" with communist states over the past 20 years to bring in world socialism (communism). They have been doing this when they have been in power, giving China more and more power in the world so they can be in a position to face the US and bring in the world communist party. Just my opinion, but it is based on what I have seen over the past 20-30 years.

9-11 what can I say, it was Building 7 that did it for me. You can not bring down a 47 story building in a couple of hours. It takes weeks or even months of planning.

You speaking of the India - China dispute ?
Since 1959 and , actually , the first tie up was between an Indian police unit and 200-300 heavily equipped Chinese troops
And has continued to flare up since then .
In both disputed locations.

As far as the South China Sea , that is one of the most disputed areas in the world.
Something is always happening there.
And has been for generations .

The strife between North and South Korea ?
I don't have to go there as EVERYONE in the world should know that one.
And the "liaison" center (actually , the Inter - Korean center) belonged to (and is in) North Korea.
As I stated in another thread "they have every right to blow their own sh__ up."

Now , what were you a sayin ?

Yeah I am with you on that, and the countless other discrepencies of that day,the river of molten metal that went on for weeks later under the towers, the way both towers fell the same way even though they were hit in different places, the bin laden family being smuggled out of the US by the government(before he was implicated),etc etc .the whole thing stinks.
But that aside-
I compare what happened after 911(and is still happening)to WW2-countries have formed factions of allies who fight against others, you have the US/UK/Europe on one side, then Russia/Iran/Syria on the other side, with China/NK and others exploiting the chaos wherever they can.
That is bad enough, but now we have something different to WW2 at the same time as all these problems-we have the islamic extremist element added to the mix-which is a direct result of first the old colonial rule, plus the blowback effect of more recent interventions in the middle east.
Also we have the digital age which has become another avenue for war-cyber/economic espionage/misinformation campaigns by some very big players.
And now the pandemic, which is definitley being used as a power play by all the usual suspects-a power play against old enemies, and populations under the boot of the technological age, previously known as the "free world."
Judging by all of that,I think in 50 years the history books will look bak at these times from 2001-??? as a global war.

Its important to realise that both WW1 and 2 were not announced as such at the time they began-those labels were added later,as things spiraled out of control and history had time to judge the bigger picture.
Maybe something similar is happening now,and only in the future will it be called a world war.

The riots and protest, along with the few Democrat only cities burning doesn't translate to America being unprepared.

The media has had some effect of distilling this doom porn scenario to consumers, that America is weak right now, afraid it isn't true.

NORAD is still operational, along with many other assets, don't fool yourself into thinking we too "preoccupied", hardly.

Secondly, the Indian and Chinese issues have been going on for some time and India has said, Enough, the chinese weren't expecting that. Who knows, that could lead to war, they probably need it for each others sake, if that makes anysense.

N.korea and S.korea, Nko is always pissed and throwing tantrums, we already know this, we just have to find out why, seems like they weren't getting their answers and went old school attention grabber. I don't expect much from that.

Lets digest the AP which first reported this,

The unusual simultaneous appearance of the three warships, accompanied by Navy cruisers, destroyers, fighter jets and other aircraft, comes as the U.S. escalates criticism of Beijing’s response to the coronavirus outbreak, its moves to impose greater control over Hong Kong and its campaign to militarize human-made islands in the South China Sea.

Apparently, the fleets other purpose was to show China that its propaganda of a "sick and weak" and "Low Readiness" in American military was nothing but Chinese propaganda spin as Three fully armed and equipped Carrier Strike Battle Groups revealed a spectacle of Power, Might and Readiness.
This is Trump, not Obama here, we aim to show Strenght.

“There have been some indications in Chinese writings that the United States was hit hard by COVID-19, that military preparedness was low, so perhaps there is an effort by the United States to signal China that it should not miscalculate,” said Bonnie Glaser, director of the China Power Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Of course Bejing isn't happy about this, but they should know that the US currently holds the cards and that's a cold hard fact, regardless of how you want to spin it.
I'll end this with Rear Admirals statement on the issue,

The ability to be present in a strong way is part of the competition. And as I always tell my guys here, you’ve got to be present to win when you’re competing,” said Rear Adm. Stephen Koehler, director of operations at Indo-Pacific Command. “Carriers and carrier strike groups writ large are phenomenal symbols of American naval power. I really am pretty fired up that we’ve got three of them at the moment.”
Great American Symbols of Power, that fires me up HARD🤫

I agree with a lot of what you said, one of the issues in the South China Sea at the moment is that there are so many military craft in the area that sooner or later an accident is probably unavoidable. Pooh bear (aka Xi Jingping) has told China to prepare for war a couple of months back now so they obviously are pushing some kind of agenda. What that agenda actually is we don't really know at the moment as it's still unfolding.

What I can see is that China "out of the blue" climbed Everest and placed a flag on top and then started a massive military build up on the border with India. India then responded in kind. Seems to me china has an agenda to expand it's sphere of influence and territory, parcel islands and Spratlys and so forth. They are not prepared to wait another 20+ years for Hong Kong, and have a serious "woody" for Taiwan. I believe this is because they need these areas for military purposes. China has built military bases in Africa and is continuing to build bases around the world to "protect" the One Belt One Road global infrastructure program. I believe the Chinese agenda of the One Belt One Road program is not just about trade but more about expansionism of Chinese territory.

You are late, WW3 ended 1990. WW4 or WW5 (depends who do you ask), that is much more likely.

I think everyone has their own stuff to deal with right now and some are going to take advantage of that.

Unfortunately right now india might be on their own.

I don't think south korea needs help with the north.

Lol, I missed that one, I guess I was asleep or too busy to notice haha.

Maybe I should have rephrased the question a little. We have had a few wars in the past 20 years but nothing compared to what is coming I believe.

When I say WW 3 I mean the use of nuclear, "biological" and/or Chemical weapons on a mass scale. When making the post I had "biological" in mind when I asked has WW 3 started.
