I never thought in my life I would see a mob of Americans take over and wall huge swaths of a city, while local law enforcement sits back and goes "We're not quite sure we can do anything". That's the way to do it since law enforcement can't do anything. They will eventually give in to human nature and turn on each other. It's what happened in the 60's with the communes. The will get destroyed or they will destroy themselves.

Seattle and the State of Washington made their bed, now let them lie in it. Let them figure it out! This is not a national issue. This is a state issue. If they don't figure it out, then let it go on indefinitely...until they do.

Isn't it ironic though, the hypocrisy of what is happening in Seattle?? Anyone who can't see it is blind. They've established their little "autonomous zone"...whoopee!

A bunch of so-called "protesters" occupy an area of a city where:
- All the infrastructure has been built already,
- All the roads have been constructed
- All the power distribution has been run
- All the gas, water and sewer infrastructure placed
- All the buildings have been built
- All the businesses and residences have been established
- All the taxes have been paid
- All the mortgages have been paid

The "protesters" did exactly ZERO, NONE, ZIPPO to contribute to any of this "work". How convenient!

So, what's going to happen when those things start to fail and fall apart??? Are they going to fix them?
What's going to happen when the next round of bills comes due??? Are they going to pay them?
What's going to happen when the power gets shut off??? Are they going to build a power plant????
What's going to happen when the water, sewer, gas and other utilities get shut off? Are they going to establish these anew?

And most importantly...what's going to happen the very first time one of these pukes gets hurt, or sick??? I'll tell you what's going to happen...they're going to run to the nearest hospital to seek professional care. The hospital they had no part in funding, building or operating! ZERO! That's what.

You see, these people are nothing more than opportunist vagrants and squatters, they're not "protesters". The minute something affects them personally their whole set of rules will change. They belong under a bridge, not in a city. Life's good while there's still stuff to eat, still stuff to steal...but sooner or later the lights are gonna' go out. What then????

Protest is one thing, but "occupy" is something altogether different!

And what of the National Guard? Trump can't authorize them to do squat unless he federalizes them which would be political suicide for him (and hopefully he knows this). Only the State Governor can order them into action. So, if they do show up...can't be blaming Trump (though they will anyway).

And what of all the businesses who can't operate?? I can't think of a better use of stimulus money then to aid them in the dissolution of their businesses and relief to relocate out of state.

Bottom line...let 'em have their little "autonomous zone"! All yours, suckers! Don't call us! Oh, and watch out what ya' wish for next time (if there is one).

No, the right answer for Seattle, the protesters and their cute little hardly-won "autonomous zone" is to let them rot there, just like the vagrants they are.

Let me get this straight, the protesters have taken over a part of the city so they can protest in peace? Then declare it a safe zone. Their stupidity knows no bounds.
Let me explain. A protest is a gathering of people showing their objection to something and the act of protest is seen by people they wish to change something they don't like. Now how can that be when the said protesters have isolated themselves in an area that no one but them can see.

Well, once again I am not sure what is actually true here, some news from the ground:
I have a very good friend who lives on Capitol Hill, on East John st, a few short blocks from all this. She runs her own small painting business (2 employees) and all her work is right around there. She has been through the "autonomous zone" (LOL) a few times in the last 2 days, She works in and around it, she is not part of the movement at all and it is irritating to her.

She is saying it's just a bunch of people sitting around in tents sharing food and stuff, says it's sort of like an extended street fair, she has not seen any guns at all and has not been stopped, questioned, or extorted by anyone, she mentioned some of the local businesses are pissed off about the "live in" outside killing business.

So I don't know if the armed antifa extortion stuff is real or possibly very isolated incident(s) getting reported?

or if the calls are made - up stories coming in from local business owners to get the riot police back and clear out the camp?

I have no doubt antifa is dumb enough to do that (extort and terrorize) but she lives there and has not seen any checkpoints or guns. Or police. I'll be keeping in touch with her as the weekend comes, Maybe it gets bad,
