The true meaning of life..

Well we must examine the nature of existence..

Existence itself will be here for eternity..

Now we ask.. what is existence..?

Well the question answers itself and you can't escape the answer.

It's you..! The thing that you can't escape.. the self!

It is where all 8nformation leads too and comes from.. It is within your awarenesd that things take place..

Without you..existence would still be there.. but you would not!

So if we conclude that the self is the only way we/you exist then we can examine what we are and where we are going..

Thus that you can't escape the self.. so we must find the purpose/function/meaning of that self..

I'm trying to make an argument for self referential awareness/existence..

So now we posit the question: what is the self? The self that sees.. that experiences.. The self that has needs and wants..

The categorical imperative IS thus! For who would necessarily choose harm or boredom.. or having a bad time..?

It is the self that seeks, that is curious.. that in and of itself is meaningful.. And thus does the meaning of life hinge on the person... their very being and its modes of experience..

So we conclude that the meaning of life is to have meaningful experiences..

Take tte concept of peek experiences.. following your curiosity.. Following your will and will power..

Nietzsche thought the meaning of life (at least from a male perspective) IS will to power..

And he at least has it partially correct!

So the meaning of life is to fulfill the being. The one that is eternal.. the one that is here now..

The particle.. or should I say unit.. as in micro unit as a subjective bias due to freewill alone!

Within the Earthen realm.. we have needs and wants as they exist here on Earth.. also the functions of their fulfillment..

It seems to me that the universe was already of the highest state of order before self-aware humans came into existence. In fact it would be impossible otherwise. We are very frail and fragile creatures. We need extremely perfect conditions to come into being and to thrive.

So observation alone tells us that existence does not need everyone alive.

As the Creator always existed then truly all that is really needed is God. Our life is a gift. And unfortunately we are ruining the earth, life on earth, and each other as well.

Fable: A man spent his whole life going to shamans, seers, prophets to try and find the true meaning of life.

After years and years searching the world over ...he came to the last mountain and the greatest seer....

"Oh, great one! I have spent my life searching for its meaning. What is true meaning of life?"

Eyes closed still...the great man began to laugh. "The meaning of life? Ha ha! It's to LIVE...and you've wasted years looking for it".

Go folks. Live your lives...we all got just one. (At least this incarnation!)

To understand the meaning of life or self one must know its origins. Without, that information, life is what you make it to be. After all, you just don't build a chair or a house without a purpose. So is life or self.

So it will boil down to where did life come from?

Is it eternal or does it have an origin?

If it's the latter, where did it came from?

If you know the answer to that question, that will be the meaning of life/self.

Parable. Thanks, I stand corrected. I had a Zen Buddhist friend in Coconut Grove, Miami in the hippie days...taught me quite a bit....although he would say I taught myself!

Achieve the acquisition of the opened Door through which you can escape into evermore expansion of consciousness at an infinite rate. Otherwise as you are imprisoned by time and you choose the space in the here and now, after death you are imprisoned by the space you occupied from conception-to-death while almost freely time dwelling within it. Until you find the escape Door in your time dwelling you hopefully installed.

The meaning of life is to procreate and survive.
Ain't hard to understand.

Self becomes less important as more life is lived...self is ego. Ego must be governed and put in it's place.

Well.. the idea of what connects us to things. The very power... or order of difficulty of things.. the effort needed to maintain a healthy life and style..the fuel of our choices so to speak.

Life for all we know could have no meaning an pointless, all the while it's what one make of the void that doesnt.

Life is just happening..... but there is an idea that there is a you separate to life.
Effort and choice is the bondage.

There actually is no you to have a choice.

Life/existence is alone..... life is doing everything.

The Ramash Balsekar (who wants to know what) vid posted on this thread will help clarify if heard..... but who could know that they are not separate from the totality?
