Who really was George Floyd

Full title : George Floyd: Felon, Porn Actor, Fentanyl & Meth User, COVID+, Used Counterfeit $$, Knew His Killer, Died Of Heart Attack

No one that I know of is excusing the actions of the police on the day George Floyd was arrested and then died subsequently. To many cases of police being arresting officer, judge, Jury, and executioner which I think bothers almost everyone.

Next thing it is quite possible that all stops will be pulled out to demonize Mr. Floyd as that is the MO of TPTB just as turning him into a saint is the MO we are seeing now.

Facts

He knew Derek Chauvin, the former police officer who killed him. The two were bouncers at El Nuevo Rodeo, a club in Minneapolis. This is perhaps the most curious detail, one which CDMedia expects will bear fruit when it comes to Chauvin’s motive.

As the NY Post reported, “Floyd and Chauvin both worked security at the El Nuevo Rodeo Club on Lake Street in South Minneapolis — and overlapped shifts on popular music nights within the last year”.
He was a felon. As the BBC reports, “His life then took a different turn, with a string of arrests for theft and drug possession culminating in an armed robbery charge in 2007, for which he was sentenced to five years in prison.” In the perpetration of the crime, Floyd held a gun to a woman’s stomach.

His rap sheet includes various other misdemeanors, including theft, multiple counts for possession of coc aine, and criminal trespassing. He went by several aliases.
Floyd’s toxicology report is damning. The man who moved from Houston to Minneapolis to make a clean start was anything but clean, with fentanyl and methamphetamine in his system. The Hennepin County Medical Center autopsy report can be viewed in full here.

The report also reveals a positive result for COVID-19 in April. The diagnosis was ruled not to be the cause of death.

Further, it reveals the cause of death to be “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restrain, and neck compression”. 85 year-old Dr. Michael Baden, was hired to do an extra, independent autopsy on Floyd. To his eye, the cause was asphyxiation. Baden has stirred controversy due to his diagnoses of many famous cases involving celebrities and criminals, including his opinion that Jeffrey Epstein did kill himself.
Floyd also appeared in a pornographic movie. As a guest on the “Habib Show,” he and two other men are filmed having sex with a young woman who gives her name as “Kimberly.”

Some tabloids have accused Floyd of gang affiliation as well, as he sports a “YRT” (Young Risk Takers) t-shirt at the beginning of the adult film, but CDMedia has not uncovered any reason to believe the group is anything more than an offshoot of Houston-based “Screwed Up Click” [sic], a consortium of rappers of which Floyd, nicknamed “Big Floyd”, was a member.
Floyd tried to use a $20 bill to buy cigarettes in a Minneapolis market just prior to his arrest. The cashier spotted the fake and returned the bill to Floyd. He went outside, returned minutes later, and the bill was accepted. Then the cashier noticed the second bill was fake and called the police who arrived minutes later, according to the store’s owner, Mike Abumayyaleh.

It’s more of a grass roots movement than TPTB, if some of the comments on ats are anything to go by. There’s more than a few people who’ve popped up here ranting about how George wasn’t a nice guy so what’s the big deal?

George Floyd was a man murdered by a cop while other cops stood by and did nothing.

Floyds past does not justify his murder by the cop.

No it does not but It might actually give a possible motive.
It might not be as cut and dry as white cop kills black man because he is black. He certainly did murder that man and I am open to possibilities other then racism as a motive. Time will tell I guess what the motive was if any or if it was indeed race related.


One thing I think we all agree on is that was murder, it’s the why that’s still being discussed.

Whoever he was he did not deserve to be executed in such a manner without seeing the inside of a court of law.

My bet is he was just a person containing good and bad like the rest of us humans.

There's a lot of information coming out about this guy.

The media and the left have turned a pure thug into a martyr but that's kinda how they roll these days.

I'm with everyone else (and those who had the ability to read past line 2) that don't think he deserved to die, but you now have to weigh in the fact that he had respiratory issues combined with the coronavirus (a racist virus as Joe Biden calls it) and multiple hardcore drugs in his system.

Chauvin showed too much force by keeping Flord pinned down too long, but I fully believe that Floyd would still be alive if he didn't have so many health issues and multiple drugs in his system. I'm curious to see how all of this is going to play out. All I know is that all the rioting the left called for, to bully Minneapolis into the giving them the results they demanded, has done more to open all of our eyes into who and what Floyd really was. An innocent guy wasn't it though.

Now we also know the real facts behind who is brutalized, arrested, and killed more by the police, and it's not the black community like we've heard for years.

I would say it's the Police who created a martyr which was apt to be in the post given what they seem to get up to and away with.

He was killed by the cop, does that change any of the facts? If so, which ones and why?

If not, then where in the OP was it said that it was OK to kill him?

So floyd was innocent.
We are innocent until proven guilty in this nation.
The cop stole floyds day in court.

I disagree. Without the looters and riots and week of protesters who got more annoying by the day and the NBA and NFL and media and democrat leaders making this into an issue of race, he would not be a martyr.

As always, they never let the facts play out before displaying their knee-jerk emotional reactions. We all saw the video, we all said it was murder, but most of us said let the facts play out before making the final decision.
