The day was January 20, 2017. Donald Trump was being inaugurated and already his war against the Left had begun. Thousands of protesters had taken to the street to express their displeasure at the man who was becoming President.
And you don't see it as unreasonable for Thousands of people to protest something that hadn't even happened yet?
Unless you are implying they where protesting democracy itself since that was the only thing to protest on January 20, 2017 regarding Donald Trump. That he won an election.
I don't know if it was right to arrest 200 democracy protesters. But it sure is satisfying to hear about.

A group/movement that is anti-facist, anti-racist, anti-sexist, ect..is a labeled as terrorism by the right?
It is clear there has been an effort to demonize the ANTIFA movement, infiltrate them to break laws and incite violance, and when that does not work pose as them to call for more violence and looting.
It says a lot about the current state of the executive branch when the ANTIFA movement is being called terrorism.

This concerns me as well because when democrats finally return to power, they will do even worse and abuse the system.
The history of Antifa is from Nazi era and they were socialist and communist combined against Nazi fascism , but tell me how is communism different from fascism ? They have both exhibited totalitarian elements and violence and mass killing and elements of control and power for the sake of the State. They are of the same elements...

I dont know what antifa stands for other than the label.
How is being against Fascism bad?
Antifa is a Soros driven change agent group with communist and socialist roots and history and have no problem using violence and looting for the Soros agenda. Soros is a change agent for tptb and the NWO. Communism is a totalitarian anti-freedom activity and socialism is communism-lite!

Do so many of you not actually see how this can go wrong or do you simply not care because your side is "winning?"
They will care when its a leftist president who does the same thing against radical right ideology...until then, it will be just cheerleading.
You are right in this concern though. Calling a mindset a terrorist organization means anyone who expresses displeasure in the administration can be investigated and potentially have their civil rights violated...again, something the right pretends to care about on principle...but in practice..well, not soo much.
Here is the truth. www.jacobinmag.com...

I’m not terrified of that at all!
Put it in the front page!
I hope the whole world sees it
Your defending rioters and Antifa
Great!
Anytime, an platform, I’ll be happy for anyone to see this
I’m on topic
The topic is about Antifa being terrorists and how to label them
You support harm and there terrorism
That’s on topic
You support fascism and state terrorism. You support using the US Military against Americans on American soil.
There. Our opinions out of the way ... do you have facts about anything?
You do understand the difference between a fact and your opinion, right?

ETA: Will anyone read and digest accounts like this? There are plenty besides my own, but they get buried in the corporate marketing deluge masquerading as "righteous," "truth," and "justice."

Stop being an asshole. How many times are you going to ask the same question of Gryphon66 after not getting the answer you want?
Violence is not wanted by the protesters but dicks are using the protests as an excuse to do violent #.
Then police crack down on the protester because now it’s a “riot” due to people, sometimes blocks away, breaking a god damn window and Looting things.
Which leads to people like you then having the excuse to dismiss the protesters as looters and rioters so you don’t have to think any uncomfortable thoughts that may challenge you.
The family — a husband and wife, their 16-year-old daughter and the husband’s mother — were driving a full-size school bus and had prepared to camp off a logging road spur on the A Road about 5 miles east of U.S. Highway 101, Anderson said.
The family had shopped for camping supplies at Forks Outfitters and were confronted “by seven or eight carloads of people in the grocery store parking lot,” Anderson said they reported to deputies.
“The people in the parking lot repeatedly asked them if they were Antifa protesters. The family told the people they weren’t associated with any such group and were just camping,” the press release said.
“The family had to drive their bus around vehicles in the parking lot in order to get back onto Highway 101.”
They drove their bus up the A Road and onto a logging spur road, where they pitched a tent to camp for the night, they told deputies, but then heard gunshots in the distance and power saws down the road from where they were camping. They packed their camp to leave.
They found that someone had cut down trees across the spur road.
They were trapped.

It's very telling that in the Portland, Oregon protests, everything was peaceful, with thousands of marchers calmly walking down the streets of central Portland all day, until most of them went home.
Then about 100 protesters stayed after through the night, and started breaking stuff.
That tells me there were two entirely separate groups. 1 - The protesters, and 2 - Antifa.
