Four officers shot in St Louis

We have had 4 officers struck by gunfire tonight. All have been transported to an area hospital. All are conscious and breathing. Their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening. Officers are still taking gunfire downtown & we will share more info as it available.

Four police officers were shot in downtown St. Louis amid ongoing violent protests Monday night.

The shooting happened near St. Louis police headquarters, where group of protesters and police have clashed repeatedly throughout the night.

Police did say, via tweet, that other officers downtown are continuing to take gunfire.

Generally terrible, all the way around. I'll update if there is more information. Should be a presser soon.

Just heard that on the iHeartRadioradio news.

Kalamazoo Michigan is crazy tonight also, reports of the county building having it's windows busted out was also reported in local reports.

St. Louis Police Chief John Hayden, during an early-morning news conference, said two officers were shot in the leg, one was shot in the arm and one was shot in the foot.

For cripes sakes are the defenders of The Thin Blue Line who are behind this civil unrest continuation to a large degree shooting each other in non-lethal areas or what the hades?Trying to get out of the Frying Pan before they are really discovered?

I think the people responsible for unrest are the unrestful, but that's just me. Just like the people responsible for Floyd's death are those who committed crimes.

But go ahead and cheer for whatever racial, class, or political tribe it is that you're obviously invested in more heavily than good-vs-evil.

The police will answer back with the same level of force..
They all ready jailed the cop that "killed" the person.
But they just had to keep the party going.
I am cheering for the police to end this madness.

Seriously? I read earlier via the news that the real protest went off without a hitch, and all was good there after it ended. Did the riot bastards wait til the coast was well-cleared or something?

Sure man, it's totally all just the cops shooting themselves to make their work next to impossible and their own lives and families' lives murder targets in one of the most heated periods of modern history. I mean, the rioters are just 100% innocent protesters, amirite?

I don't care about the protests or demonstrations. People have every right to be pissed. If they think marching makes them better heard, have it (I don't think it matters much). The "madness" needs to stop. There are places enabling it.

Something needs to change or crazy stuff like this will continue to happen. How long before we see pickets on police funerals. That would really piss off the thin blue line.

Freaking police offered Floyd family a police escort for his funeral. Like they want anything to do with law enforcement on that day.
