NK at the DMZ, my buds have nothing good to say at all about that place. I could only imagine the 1st few days after that test were freaky. It would be all out of your hands and could turn literally into a meltdown flameout. God bless you for not going mental over that day.

I think the ship lost one to COVID. Probably less than number they lose from falling/jumping overboard each deployment.

I wonder if he really does feel contrite, ashamed and guilty for his 'white privilege'? Is Trudeau the first world leader to bend the knee? I think all the world leaders ought to follow his lead, no matter what the colour of their skin is.

White Folks Guide to Protesting

The rules seem reasonable.

1. Don't try to lead; just shut up and follow!
2. No selfies; erase yourselves from the narrative!
3. Be helpful; serve your mas....protest leaders!
4. Do what you are told without question or hesitation!
5. If you ain't Black, stay in the back; otherwise act as human shields!
6. Refer to #1.
7. Refer to #3; and don't forget the snacks!

I am not a racist. My step-daughter is Black. I have treated people of all colours with respect and dignity all of my life. I have shown solidarity with all of humanity every day since I was aware. Do I need to symbolize that by bending my knee? Maybe. I don't have a problem with that necessarily.

Have people thought about the unintended consequences of following the 7 rules above? Are they carrying things a little too far with them? Might that not lead to some form of resentment down the road? Can it not generate even more racial tension, albeit, unintentionally? I don't know the answers to these questions.

Or am I just making too much of the rules?
