I wonder if the use of the NG would allow some sort of intelligence (ELINT) otherwise prohibited the NYPD. NG is allowed to assist law enforcement, but I would think warrantless surveillance of cell phone data, for instance, would still be illegal. The whole "state of emergency" - thing muddies the waters on many things that would otherwise be clear.

President Trump should re-tweet the video. That is the kind of sight that will make Americans DEMAND that either governors stop the rioting with state enforcement, or ask for military troops.

A retired (Black!) police captain left on the St. Louis sidewalk to bleed out, after a "protesting" George Floyd supporter shoots him. Other rioters try to take valuables off this dying officer.

I did download it, but I just havent brought myself to post it. You would think Twitter would have surely pulled this one 10 seconds after it went up, but they didnt and it makes me wonder why. I may drop it on the site with a lot of warning because I do agree that it should be seen, hard as it is to watch it. Plus I know there is no trouble for me to post it there. Have to take that into consideration also with the public heavy hitter platforms
