GOOD and evil ?
Conundrums

No, respect, the rule of law, and how criminals and those in their sphere think.

Protesting a criminal act by marching or kneeling is not disrespect of the rule of law. Your threshold of "us" and "them" might need some examining.

As I said earlier, you are commenting on something you do not understand.

Put on a uniform. Come back to me in a year.

I don't know how libertarian ideals and classic liberalism would be less valid if I were Canadian, eh *shrug*

Well said. They are not less valid.

The Habs are...meh.

Red Wings is where it's at. Maybe I should change my avatar to reflect that?

Seems my gut feelings about escalation before clampdown were right:

BREAKING: 2 crates filled with pipe bombs discovered near Korean War Memorial in DC after suspects spotted in bushes. Federal assets in pursuit

Makes me think the smooth play for Trump would be to morph FBI-FISA into a dirty cop tale.

So you are ok with police officerss kneeling on the tax payers dime when they should be doing their job?

For the the record, protesting is protesting, rioting is rioting? You should understand this.

How many innocents have suffered because of this? You support kneeling?

Forgive my saying so, but it sounds like you're more interested in tribalism than good.

Not a Habs fan, really, but hate the Wings. Pro-sports tribes are something I can get behind lol

I'm okay with peace officers trying to make peace. Just like I'm okay with my city's "Coffee with a Cop" events.

I'm not okay with kneeling in front of rioters, and rioters, looters, arsonists, bombers, should be stopped with brute force if necessary. That they haven't been is a gross failure of chiefs and/or politicians. Where I live one of the city council members is saying that the mayor and certain other members are threatening the budget if the arrested aren't immediately released. It's disgusting. I've already made the distinction between peaceful protest and surrender to thugs clear.

The fact you are equating the peaceful marchers with the rioters means you're already drawing arbitrary lines in the sand in the wrong places. The fact thugs and anarchists have left you unable/unwilling to find common ground with people peacefully protesting a murder by agents of the state, just means the control system is having its way with you. Bang on the drum of tribalism and everyone forgets good and evil. No different than the people saying, "you think we should be nonviolent and make peace with the cops?! The same people who just killed a guy?!" You're just choosing a different tribe. DIvide, divide, divide. "Race, class, politics -- pick a side!"

So you're ok with tax dollars being wasted on officers kneeling when they should be protecting and serving? I know you've been here a long time, but come on. You speak of attacks, seems you're reply was nearer to that. You ok with people feeling threatened during these riots, not protest, riots?

Some are trying, while others are more absorbed with winning inane arguments and defending perceived slights..

Also you have your usual dirty socks, well worn, almost threadbare..

And then you have us lurkers, scrolling by..searching for the proverbial needle in the haystack gems..

Pretty much par for course sadly..

Rowdy Roddy should make tomorrow more interesting..if he pipes up..

It's actually picking up steam. Still doubting like you have all along? Here's the big question, do you think that Q brought us or we brought Q? Good luck with that.
