Is Q even relevant?

As a long time member of ATS I became aware of QAnon same as everyone else, interested in such things, in 2017. I remember thinking at the time, Ok, well if something is said that turns out to be true, then great.

2018 went by. Trump did what he did. Q said some vague things that were specific enough to keep everyone interested. I remember thinking Q seemed to be legit, because of correlations between the timing of drops and news stories like Russiagate and Pizzagate.

Just add ...gate became a thing too.

Anyway, in 2018 Q followers started getting noticed at rallies, in the press and Trump seemed to let on that he was aware. Throughout 2018 and into 2019 nobody took it seriously, at least nobody outside of conspiracy circles.

Maybe Q was real, but he wasn't saying anything of value. Always cryptic, and hey, oh so much fun Q drops promise the Trumpian promises, to drain the swamp, to clean out the deep state. Pizzagate also provided Q the ability to give the cleanup of another conspiracy to Trump, namely the elite Pedo ring.

In the winter of 2020 Q said, basically, The storm was happening. Meaning the round up of Pedo criminals was happening. I believe I remember references to dominos falling. Alot of we old timers said, at the time, even here at ATS "this cannot be taken back"

Military movements in the us and some tweets made everyone think maybe the storm was coming. But the tweets were baseless and the movements were unrelated.

Then the storm didn't happen, but according to Q, it never stopped. So, long story short (too late) I came to the conclusion that Q only exists to provide a fictional narrative, making use of conspiracy theories, that makes Trump sound better than he is. Perhaps even, makes Trump sound like something worth voting for. A hero, even.

And since I'm pretty sure this is very far from being the truth, Q is entirely irrelevant. Q is a marketing ploy that simply lies to you. The fact that you believe the lie is not what makes you foolish, but rather that you continue to believe the lie when it is so obviously exposed.

I agree with you. QAnon is a total joke and work of fiction. I don’t see how rational people even believe this #. We have a lot of stupid people in the United States. I just shake my head at it all.

I've been saying for a while - and have gotten some pretty OTT reactions here and elsewhere - that I'm starting to wonder if the ol' Trumpeter ain't just one big freakin' psyop designef to get us excited then dash our hopes.

i think Q is useful as a barometer of what people wish for.
People want their leader to be a brave genius, digging out evil even when it makes him look foolish.
People want there to be structure and narrative, they want life to make sense.
They want there to be a ultimate evil behind all the unpleasant things that happen, because otherwise, they have to face facts that things just..... happen.... and that the only real change any of us can hope to effect is in our own tiny communities.

People want life to be a movie, and it's not, and that's a bitter pill.

No idea, but I DO know that Q is most times so tragically obtuse that you could assign your pet conspiracy to anything he says and make the pieces fit in your head.

A "truthspeaker" speaks the truth, not riddle. Even when I have told things on here that I knew were partially or totally unknown at the time, I said it plainly and with as much fact as I had... and my suppositions were always posted with "I think" or similar. One of the times was during the pizzagate thing. I told what I knew, what it meant, and how I knew it. I would expect no less from a whistleblower .. in fact, Id insist on it.

How many times do "we" have to see supposed insiders be proven to be no more than super-LARPers.. getting off on hoodwinking folks who simply want to be more informed or concerned about one thing or another? A lab in Wuhan China is one of the largest manufacturers of Adrenochrome. The stuff that they sell on the dark web is this nice brick red color. There are other labs that manufacture and ship it... but this is supposedly the highest value stuff. Or was. We dug over the years.. we exposed stuff over the years. No one cares in the end when the newest flavor doomporn pops up.
