I found "It's a shame" after it was sampled in a Jungle track.

Glad I found the original

Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd.

"The Dark Side of the Moon received critical acclaim upon release, and has since been hailed by critics as one of the greatest albums of all time. The record reached number one on the US Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart (now known as the Billboard 200), and has charted for 950 weeks in total. With estimated sales of over 45 million copies, it is Pink Floyd's best seller, and one of the best-selling albums worldwide. "

Let that bold line set in for a min...Prior to digital tracking on top charts this album has shown up a little under 19 years , not consecutively, since it's release in 1973. I saw another article on it which said "One in every fourteen people in the US under the age of 50 is estimated to own, or to have owned, a copy."

As a full blown audiophile myself I can literally remember the first time I played the record, put my headphones on and just listened to what I was hearing. Oddly enough when i rank Pink Floyd albums I put this in third place overall but it just so happens that this was the right album at the right time to have such a profound impact on so many people.

Finally, recently they have released a remastered version of their DSotM performance from Pulse which is worth watching....
