They have been under classification review since they were voted to be released in 2018 and the DNI just finished that review, really hard for Schiff to release them before then.

His assertion: he had incontrovertible evidence that Trump had teamed up with Russia to steal the election
Every single person he interviewed: we have no evidence of any collusion
Calling it "old news" is spun horsecrap. Literally no one told Schiff that Trump and Russia colluded, and he claimed everyone did. There is no wiggle room.
A public figure is a person, such as a politician, celebrity, social media personality, or business leader, who has a certain social position within a certain scope and a significant influence and so is often widely of concern to the public, can benefit enormously from society, and is closely related to public interests in society.[1]
In the context of defamation actions (libel and slander) as well as invasion of privacy, a public figure cannot succeed in a lawsuit on incorrect harmful statements in the United States unless there is proof that the writer or publisher acted with actual malice by knowing the falsity or by reckless disregard for the truth.[2] The legal burden of proof in defamation actions is thus higher in the case of a public figure than in the case of an ordinary person.

Unfortunately, you can “ go on national TV and make things up as he did” if he sticks to he was ensuring national security. And that the concern was not out of malice, but concern for national security.

There's a lot of speculation that Gowdy is dirty and a secret NeverTrumper
Be careful of anything with his name attached to it

Except that McCarthy was right and Schiff is not. Schiff oddly enough has not put the blame on the right commie colluders.

Schiff is looking more and more like a modern day Joe McCarthy every day. Even now, with his witnesses denying any evidence of Russian collusion with the Trump administration, rather than try to extricate himself from this mess, he continues to spout his lies.
The guy seems to have a serious problem. He shouldn't be in Congress, much less have a security clearance, and needs to resign from office.
Ryan has Soros money on him so it’s not hard to see what he’s up to. Gowdy no, but I do wonder why he turned from the one Potus determined to take genuine care of our country.

Wasn't it odd when he decided to leave Congress? I remember thinking what do they have on him?, meaning the Democrats.
But now it seems too coincidental that both him and Paul Ryan leave and go to Fox News.
Even more convenient is how Fox has lurched leftward since then. Makes one wonder about the entire Benghazi investigation. Was he controlled opposition? Was his watchdog act just that? An act?

Be less emotional, more rational and you would see that (a) Flynn himself admitted he lied

As for Flynn, he may well have lied, but the underlying issue, that of the phone call with the Russian ambassador, was not a crime and in fact, they had the transcripts of it before they even interviewed Flynn. They were planning to close the case until the higher ups decided to try to nail him on a process crime by laying a perjury trap.
