This is considered to be a popular song for the genre, I didn't produce it. 150k+ views since 12/2019. It isn't dubstep, it's jump up drum & bass.
There's different types of drum & bass, dubstep is related though. People describe dubstep as drunk drum & bass.
Same thing goes for house music, trance, different genres of EDM. There's disco house, hard house, UK hard house, a bunch of others I don't know
because I don't follow it. There's hard trance, progressive trance etc.
Producers make the songs, then DJs mix them into 30-90min sets to play at clubs, parties and events or upload to spotify and youtube. Fans of a DJ
like their track selection and taste in music so they follow them and goto their live events.
