Why isn't vaccine research a matter of national security?

The US military/DoD throughout its history has annexed the research and development of many technologies in the name of National Security. Two words that seem to override just about ANYTHING

They have assumed the oversite and production of certain weapons, energy research, chemicals, communications technology, and bioweaponry.

But when it comes to vaccines....arguably the most important (in theory...comparatively) , they contract out...it seems this leaves them vulnerable.

Why are we groveling at the feet of pharmaceutical companies for a covid cure? Surely the field-of-expertise isnt so narrow, that only a few entities can attempt it, and if it is....shouldnt that in itself be cause for a national security concern?

Perhaps the answer lies in the history of vaccines,
which was pretty much cornered by The Rockefeller's
in the early 1920's. Now it seems the heads of the
CDC, and The Who control all research, are in bed
with Big Pharma.

But the military does have some impressive research,
just who they hand that off to seems to be the problem.

Perhaps viruses and vaccines are complete lies and they don't invest in what they know are lies...….and are also committing lies of omission ...likely because in some way shape or form they are complicit.

Maybe its one of those "because just because" things 🧐

No. Inter-national Security. US is one...1... of over 140+ countries with the same problem.

Cause they don't want to do China's work for them?

Cause they'd steal it and slap a made in label on it.
