So, everyone must have at least 1 or 2 fear's?

From being scared of spider's to dying alone, even being killed without saying goodbye!

1 of my greatest fears, is not seeing my son grow old, and being able to spend time with (future grandchildren) thats if he marry's and has any?

This is a good topic, however if you do some searching *before* posting, you'd see this is the fourth time that this has been asked/posted by members. So anyway, if you search *fears* in the search, you'll see for yourself what many peoples fears are here, as I really don't think our fears change that often

Thank you!

I did do a ATS search, but none of the above caught my eye, I was looking for "greatest fears".

Wrong again!

I had a dream about drowning once that is still vivid to this day. I am on the back of a sport fishing boat and a wave comes along and washes me overboard. I cannot get out of my clothing which immediatly becomes waterlogged and drags me to the bottom. As I sink I watch the boat and surface of the water get farther and farther away from me.

I have a constant dream where I am driving across a bridge and I lose control of the car and go overboard. I wake up right before splashdown, but I still hate bridges.

I really have no fear, per se'. I fear the uncertainty of the future and the future of my future kids.

Iv drowned and come back to life, didnt breath for close to 2 min. Mind went blank. All I remember were waves hitting my back, then i was swept in.

My dad resuscitated me, I was 11, on a beach in Virginia. My lungs hurt from all the fluid that went in. As well as my ears and throat. I was coughing sand for 3 days. They had me on a drip in some small hospital near bush gardens.

anyway, death is nothing to fear. you feel that way because your young. when you ask an old person if he/she is scared of dying...most of them would look at you all crazy. the body gets so tired that the mind cant wait to expire...i personally think.

my greatest fear would be having another spinal tap and being paralized.

My fear is that I will live and die in this world and matter not one hill of beans from another. The waves will continue to crash into the shore, counting endless cycles of time. The sun will rise and set another day. The moon will shine its beautiful light by night. Vessels will venture out into the sea and return. Life will go on. The things I treasure will gather dust in someone elses abode. Few will mention my name while I waste in a god d*** grave.
