Ron Paul re-dux

I've found it necessary here, to state my political leanings. So, here goes...

Trump sucks. Obama sucked. Both Bush's sucked. Clinton sucked. Carter sucked. Reagan sucked. ...that's all I got. I've never felt personally represented by any President in my lifetime. I've never had the opportunity to vote for anyone I actually wanted in office to represent me (short of the write-ins that go nowhere).

The only purpose any President has ever served me is how LITTLE I find them involved in my day-to-day life. In that sense, Trump is far and away the worst.

I'd like to re-up an election 12 years ago. When Ron Paul was running. That was a guy I wanted.

What if?



He actually would have drained some of the swamp. He seen unnecessary government everywhere.

And, no, Rand (his son) is not at all to my liking.

I remember Ron, I liked him, he seemed so out of place in the debates, like he didn't want to be there, but felt like he HAD to be there.

I'm with you, I don't know how anyone trusts these monsters that want power over them, we used to call people like that sheep, and the sheep just seem to love each leader more than the last.

And you're not supposed to. They only come for your vote and that's it. Concentrate on local elections that's how I've played it for the last few years. I don't think elections are for us mere citizens but for the rich, the powerful, those who can line the pockets of said politicians and yes I mean EVERY politician even those at the local level but the local elections can impact my day to day life.

Whoever it is who gets the big chair to sit at the big table doesn't look down at his pages and think "Hmmm how can I help the little people today?" that only comes into play when it's election time. I can't remember who said it but some famous bloke said something about the type of people who run for office craving power or being corrupt at the core that sort of thing. So yeah, while I agree with you I just ask if you would turn your attention to local elections rather than caring about the major one.

I visit and like his liberty report channel lately. More people do than ever. They deserve it. Their take on the fake virus is so on target. When you compare it with Trump team it's like the people vs. fake government again.
I didnt use to like his appeasement pacifism with China and Russia doing their stuff. It was not his time to shine. Will there ever be the time? The toxic two party monopoly is designed to stay. It's always their great show, their long term plans. Dont waste your vote just one more time we promise you'd regret it this last time, oh it's the most important election ever the other party must not win the world would end...

Ron is profiteer to nutcases and conspiracy theorists. He never intended to win the presidency just creating a marketable idea. He is as fake if not more fake than Alex Jones. His proposed methods of governance would within months make the US a third world country with gun-toting lunatics as the norm.

Not him personally, no. But he dominates the news and people talk about him all the damn time. Aside from that, I feel he's screwed the pooch on handling this pandemic and that hurts my laid-off ass more and more every day.

What if the power of government were so limited that it didn’t matter who occupied the White House? Wouldn't that be a vast improvement?

It Shouldn't Matter Who the President Is

But that might be too much work for Americans. They'd actually have to learn and understand some history and civics, and take some responsibility for themselves and their decisions, and how they affect not only themselves, but their families for generations to come.
