JOE BIDEN says President Trump Will Try to Delay the November 2020 Presidential Election.

What kind of malarkey is this? Why would Presidential candidate Joe Biden make this claim, without evidence, and without saying "WHY"???

"Mark my words: I think he is gonna try to kick back the election somehow...to come up with some rationale why it can't be held," Biden said at a virtual fundraiser.

Biden has maintained the November election should not be postponed, and has previously made similar comments.

Fears over the CoronaVirus and its spread, have increased concerns over how the election will be held safely, with new calls to expand access to voting and voting by mail.

Biden said Congress needs to ensure that states have sufficient funding for expanded voting options during the pandemic.

Let's say Joe Biden does have reliable inside sources who give him enough confidence to say, "MARK MY WORDS", when making this claim.

What are some of the reasons why President Donald Trump would want to delay this year's Presidential election beyond its customary month of November?

The only thing I can think of would be if Covid-19 and/or the FLU season was especially bad by late October. (Election day is November 3rd) A compassionate U.S. President would not want to expose American lives to un-necessary health risks. He can just ask Congress to delay the election, until the epidemic has died down.

If the lockdowns are still in effect to such a degree that we can't go to the polls in November I don't think the country will be recognizable at that point. Don't know who would want to be in charge of that mess.

The biggest problem with the lockdowns, is that the most populous states are locking down the longest. Michigan is going to May 15th (at least). Illinois to May 31st (at least). New York, until Congress gives the state $50 Billion or so. California's "models" say May 17th for rural sections.

You could have Montana, Idaho, New Hampshire, Missouri, etc.. go 100% open tomorrow, and the U.S. economy wouldn't even enter low gear.

There should be a way we could all vote online, based on our SSN. One vote per over age 17 SSN.

He (Biden) would make the claim because his mind is not all there and it is a juicy talking point for some individuals.

Trump wouldn't want to delay the election. Even if the pandemic spiked again in fall, I do not see Trump wanting to delay the election. It would only be a negative for him (Trump).

Might be necessary should a Covid 19 fall outbreak happens. However they will have another 6 months to work on various therapies and a possible vaccine. We should be much more ready for it this fall than what we were last year.

What Biden should be worried about is a vote of no confidence at the convention and getting replaced at the last minute. Then the question would be who would the Democrats run?

If Joe Biden is a mental vegetable by then, and Donald Trump was guaranteed re-election, America would understand if President Trump wanted to delay the election until the danger had subsided.

Democrat leaders would go along with it too. The delay would give them time to convince Oprah or Michelle to take Joe's place.

Every 4 years we always have someone claiming the presidential election will be suspended. It has not happened yet.

This is coming from the same guy who doesn't seem to be sure about which office he is running for, which state he is in currently, and also thinks there's another Biden running. I think it's safe to say he didn't know exactly what words were coming out of his mouth when he made that statement.

Correct me if I'm wrong, as I'm not an American, but I heard that if an election is not held by January 20, 2021, then Trumps position becomes void automatically and the law of succession is invoked.

The only thing that I find newsworthy in this report that Joe Biden was able to string together a couple of coherent sentences that connected a single thought!

You really think after seeing Joe Biden on the interviews stumbling, bumbling around........ you know..... the thing?, that he is gonna win bigly? Really? You do realize they have to debate right? You do realize Joe likes to sniff women and children's hair and make them terribly uncomfortable? You remember Hunter and all his troubles including the Ukraine problem? Not to mention the current accusations against Joe. And don't get me wrong Trump says and does some things even recently, that would be great talking points with a candidate that had the facilities to deliver it in a coherent manner. Debates are on the fly, and no matter what the moderators do Joe will have to stand on his own merits. Win bigly? Even in the year of the pandemic, Joe is not that candidate.

Do you think if Trump senses he's going to lose, with an ego like his, that he might avoid an election all together and just sit in the office until he's tenure runs out on January 20? It would save the humiliation of defeat and cause maximum chaos. Right up his alley

For what its worth i could actually see it this year because of the second round of the virus that the Dims have planned for the middle of September and hitting hard in October.
