Id say we always are, every moment of every day with every person.

Mostly unconsciously. And there are those who very much enjoy hijacking that for their own ends, which aint so great for anyone involved.

Self-determination, autonomy, and self-sufficiency, and the tools to achieve it(!), stops that in its tracks.
