Please. Fauci isn't a tool of the left, he's a tool of the medical establishment. If you think Pubs aren't just as determined to make us medical dependents, then you have a huge wakeup call coming in your echo chamber:

Big Pharma Keeps Bankrolling House GOP’s Dark Money Arm

How big pharma's money – and its politicians – feed the US opioid crisis

And Trump isn't being played by anyone. Trump knows. If anything, Trump is playing both sides against the middle.

The real tools (and lets not leave out useful idiots!!!) are those who cannot see that from their echo chambers and perpetuate the propaganda...

Fauci claims now more lives could've been saved in February, but on Jan. 21 he stated that the virus "is not something that the citizens of the United States, right now, should be worried about."

How can you trust anything this guy says? For all we know, he may have mislead Trump. Look what Fauci stated in February, when Trump decided on the travel ban from China back in late January.

Stringent travel restrictions imposed on inbound flights from China to contain the coronavirus outbreak become “irrelevant” in a potential pandemic because “you can’t keep out the entire world,” a top U.S. health official said a day after the Trump administration braced the public for its eventual spread here.

What’s fascinating and terrifying is how quickly we turned into a fascist state with neighbors serving as proxies to the governmental behemoth.

Even in Texas they are doing this. Absolutely shocking.

All the Doctor was saying was if we had started mitigating the situation sooner, we'd probably have had a better result. Isn't that obvious?

Obviously someone disagreeing with or criticizing Trump means they’re a lefty and should be summarily ejected from the administration.

Trumps followers don’t care about facts. Just loyalty. Which is why people rightfully refer to them as a cult.

Everyone that supported the economic shut-down as a solution to the pandemic has been a tool of the left.

I don't think Trump screwed up. He has handled this well.. now his Covid news conferences are a # show when he is speaking, but that's no big deal, just a tad annoying.

Looks like Fauci was one of the experts that was pushing back against draconian measures. At least if we are to believe what he actually said in a live interview.

But let’s blame Trunp because more lives could have been saved if he only had a magic crystal ball.

And more lives could have been saved if he had a magic wand to produce 300 million reliable tests overnight.

I thought we elected a magician I am so disappointed. End Sarcasm.

Gotcha. I wasn't aware of his Jan. 21 statement. Now, this guy just seems like a tool period, and not just of the left.

Fauci seems fine to me. I feel like people would be whining and bitching no matter what Trump decided and to be fair if it were Obama there world just be other people doing the bitching and whining. Nobody knows what the right decision is and probably they are trying to limit deaths to whatever extent possible. You can always print more fake money, but you can't raise the dead, except on Easter of course.

April 2009 - First H1N1 Death on U.S. Soil.

Dr. Fauci says a vaccine is being rushed.

The earliest a vaccine could be ready is this fall, said Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

"Currently, the FDA [U.S. Food and Drug Administration] and the CDC are developing virus reference strains -- the information that is necessary to develop a vaccine," Sebelius said. "Today, there are a series of steps that HHS is taking in vaccine development. The process is more speedy than it has ever been before."
abcnews.go.com...

As predicted, the Vaccine was developed and administered in the Fall of 2009...just 7 months after the first H1N1 death on U.S. soil.

Sorry, don't see it. Had he not added in the last part about push back, maybe. I'm not saying he doesn't swing left, I know he does. However, I don't see this as an egregious issue. I think his assessment is fair, we probably could have saved a few more lives, and crashed the economy a bit more as well, but his first assertion IMHO is correct. I know the left has a tendency to be very divisive but let's fly above that. Let him say what he thinks, and prove him wrong with actions and improving numbers.

I certainly dont trust Fauci..

But I think it might be a good time to start looking at these things outside just the political spectrum.

The social groups that have been established over the years certainly utilize political power and influence, but I think thats more from an efficacy standpoint than anything.

I believe they targeted the colloquial "left" because they are more amenable to change based on idealism, and then shaped the colloquial "right" in recent years to respond solely to the social group perceived as the "left."

Realistically though, we see the same behavioral programming taking shape, in earnest, in other social areas before it really hit the political sphere. Even so, a lot of easily accessible history on Fauci would indicate what "side" he might plant his feet politically.

I think a lot of my own beliefs would place me on the left, but I also hold the Constitution dear, want to see the US thrive, and am not a fan of converting everyone to think or behave like me. Puts me in a strange place, which started to happen decades ago.
