Hospitals "Overwhelmed" in Nova Scotia.

Today, as I drove to pick up my "contactless" grocery order, I heard a commercial on the radio that said our hospitals in Nova Scotia, Canada, are "OVERWHELMED" by Covid-19.

We have 10 cases that have required hospitalizations. "OVERWHELMED".

I heard their fevers have spiked so high, that they've melted the make shift Cov-Igloo we had the army build to deal with them all.

Who's gonna care for the walruses and polar bears when all of you succumb? The world will also be Clamato-less. This is an ecological and humanitarian disaster.

Nova Scotia also recently banned home births. Seems like that would put more strain on hospitals.

We need to be very wary of what information we consume. Just being aware of propaganda is not enough. Its designed with that in mind.

I'm really tired of new alarm bells going off every day.
However.. Glad I'm here and out in the sticks instead of the big city somewhere else.
I could go off on a tangent 6 ways from Sunday about how this is being handled by government and citizens alike.. But honestly.. I'm at the point where I just want to sit on my back deck and drink my rum and shut it all off.

Same here. We're in a tiny town and it's become very Big Brother with community policing, etc. I've taken the opportunity to deactivate my social media and not hold back when people ask my opinions about the state of things.

Other than that, yep... mostly drinking

The CAO of our town has taken it upon himself (What? Why?) to police people who have returned from out of province, ensuring they stay at home for 14 days (as if they have any more of a chance spreading this as any rando), and has posted that it's EVERY citizens duty to call the non compliance line if anything is amiss. ANYTHING.

I got told to go off myself today by a real piece of work online all off kilter because people didn't believe his pieced together conspiracy theories about the virus. Nice eh? No neighbors close enough to me and most here are pretty cool about everything.

In the black death whole villages and towns went. Just goes to show if the bad bit gets in.

I asked if his momma bought his keyboard for him. Took him to school over taking tidbits of multiple conspiracy theories and throwing them together like 12 monkey soup. Honestly..I think the guy might have been off his meds...
