I get the feeling that Leicester is being fused to set an example to the rest of the U.K. what happens if folk flout the rules, or do dumb things. After the scenes of packed English beaches and having experienced the absolute abandonment of the rules - the misconception of the majority of folk out there that the virus has gone away - I think such an example was necessary

Yea, governments should make examples out of people who will not be herded by their divine law. Because the government has done so well at everything, and has never lied to, or screwed over you Brits.
Thank god we founded this country and got away from sheep. Your view of government makes me sick. The government has no right to quarantine/lockdown healthy people. No doctor in their right mind quarantines healthy people. It doesn't make sense, yet you are being led like livestock, and you think it was "necessary". Baaaaaaaah Baaaaaah

I didn't try to prove you wrong,
I just pointed out that old people dying can be tragic,
"I very much enjoy being proved wrong"
If you expect anyone to believe that, you have clearly been in your echo chamber for decades.
Glad you're a not bereavement counsellor

I wonder if there's some PTSD involved, especially for hospitalized patients. Once you get a handle on how very little medical staff care whether you live or die, it's a little traumatizing.
