I would think our state and federal Gov. would be getting all our supply's of mask's ,eye wear and gloves produced and ready. Trump needs to think this through and give us a plan like figure out if business's are responsible to order these products and instructions. I think if Trump would lead on this now we could maybe actually be ready by May. We have done and accomplished some amazing things in our history I think this could bring us together to fight this Virus and get back to work.
Any other ideas? Please

The president just said he's setting up a committee to restart America... state-by-state region-by-region.

There will be quite a bit of resistance from certain politicians, but what the people want who elected them, will prevail.

i think it will be a state by state basis , wyoming has zero deaths for example, in montana our curve is flattened we just need to keep the tourists out tell this all blows over. states like NY or NJ are gonna be closed for a lot longer and in those states i think they will priotize markets and ports vs every day businesses

Masks are like a night light to protect yourself from monsters. They don't do anything but make you feel better.

Further more, it's not the presidents job to produce masks, nor is it his job to prop up the economy (wall street only for the most par) with trillions of dollars.

If you want a mask, make one. Time we all stop expecting the fed to wave magic wands. All they're gonna do is wave a bat in a China shop instead (both puns intended).

Alex Jones would be best case celebrity. But he would just muck up any good intention with his mere name association.

dear mr. shiloh... that's an indian name, right? i love indians, i always stuck by the indians in those cowboy movies. hard workers these indians. we're all indians, right? a little bit indian, they're our ancestors, we can still learn a lot from them, right? this virus is a little bit like an indian, right? it's strong and so dangerous. the most dangerous virus ever, even more dangerous than the swedish flu or the malaria thing in russia back then. it eats the economy, it seems that it feeds on the economy, it's like a bat sucking your blood, like a chinese street vendor, he won't leave you alone until you buy something, right? we should call him mike tyson virus. i love mike tyson, best ice hockey player ever! corona is a tough opponent i tell you, but i will beat him, not alone of course, i have the best team ever, it's record-breaking and i listen to what they have to say and then i decide what to do. those are big decisions, right? the biggest decisions ever made. it's not easy. i have a plan in my head that's going to save the economy. i'm not going to tell you yet but you'll see when it comes into effect you'll be amazed. it's the best plan ever. trust me joe. and don't forget: vote me in the elections!

Just let anybody who tests negative go back to work. If you don't test negative.. you don't go back to work. Pretty simple.

No. No no no no no. Just no.

We have an absolute right to make a living for our ourselves and our families, and to conduct our business with any and all consenting adults.

We also have the absolute right to reasonable doubt, to be secure in our persons, and the presumption of innocence.

People also have the absolute right to take whatever precautions they deem necessary and appropriate to protect themselves. But no one has the right to tell anyone else what they must do to protect others.

Technically, neither Trump nor any federal agencies have imposed any orders on the states. All orders have been imposed by the states' governors. So it's solely up to the governors.

And all of this should have been established prior to the orders imposed, both criteria and time frames. It's shameful that it wasn't.

We should not have to do anything. If anything, they should have to justify the continued trampling of our rights. Or, better yet, just stop.

I live in a major city suburb and about 50% of the businesses are open. Sherwin Williams, Lowes, Home Depot, car wash, all fast food, most local eateries, all gas stations, all HVAC companies, plumbers, electricians, groceries. The economy is limping but it's not this total loom and gloom the media is making it out to be.

Yesterday I watched this segment on PBS. People making personal videos with cry baby stories. Most of them were well over 45 and saying their business was destroyed, businesses that were passed down from family. A few were in their 50's saying it was so devastating they had to move in with their elderly parents.

At that point I called total BS. If one is in their late 40's and early 50's and can't survive on their own built up finances after a month or two they have MUCH BIGGER PROBLEMS. Mainly the inability to have even a basic understanding of finance 101. If they are living that close to the bone at that age something else is going on.

Man, I remember when this website was all about State autonomy and State rights, and small government. Now, it looks like whoever can put the States down and tout big government the most gets all the cookies around here.

Hell, I remember when this board used to be skeptical of the government.

Sorry to be the one to tell you friend... But "our guy" is running the show. He can do no wrong. Change positions Hella times on Corona, that's fine. Out do Obama OK bailouts, that's winning.

This is the world we live in now.

I think we should continue the "flatten the curve" trend until the end of the year.

I mean how else am I going to keep getting pornhub premium for free?
