Leading environmental "schientists" have concluded that COVID-19 has proven Global Warming is REAL, and the world just needs to stay quarantined...basically forever. Studies show that global carbon emissions have dropped significantly and previously extinct species have risen from the dirt back to life. "It's simply amazing", one schientist said, "we've never seen anything like this".

Storied 'diplomat' Henry Kissingass has made public statements that the World is better off now...now that FEMA camps are just incinerating people, and there are new wars to be started over things like TP and flour. "What a great time", Kissingass said of the world events..."we are living in a turning point of our history".

I really wanted to watch the rest of the statements by environmental officials, but I was unable to stop vomiting long enough to watch.

My thoughts are that a few days of weather doesn't equal climate change.

Climate is bigger than short duration and/or location-specific changes.

No one is cowering. Definitely not me.

I am an essential worker in an essential industry, so I get no respite. I have to work and commute. The empty motorways are a dream.

When at home, I have a reasonable size rural property overlooking the river and, in the distance, the city. I can walk around or mow or plant or tinker for hours and my grandson has a new bicycle. I could watch him playing, excitedly, for ages as he builds jump ramps and scatters the chickens.

Will it heal the world, bring back the dinosaurs, start the Great TP War of 2020?

My thoughts at the moment are about my eldest son who passed away from Ewings Sarcoma, exactly one year ago yesterday, and I am also concerned for several of my friends whose businesses may not survive the lockdown. While I am well off and will survive comfortably, they may not.

I am so sorry to hear that.

My wife has a particularly nasty type of Sarcoma that she has fought for years.

She is in remission now, but to do that we had to re-write our lives and a lot of how we thought about cancer.

I have forgotten that when you talk to people that sometimes you are talking to them on the worse day of their lives.

I'm in a weird place with it. Up then down.

Grief's like that, it sort of blindsides you in the middle of being happy and you don't really know how you feel.

I'm a person with long term goals.

I have a 5 year plan, a 10 year plan, a plan for the rest of my life.

However.

For the last 5 years I've dealt with the news that my wife is going to die in 6-8 months.

Every year.

For the last 5 years.

We've done the will, we've cried and said our goodbyes, we have planned the funeral.

Every year.

For the last 5 years.

So I understand the ups and downs.
