As far as the poster above goes ignore them, if they say nasty stuff they best be ignored, however seems more like a figure of speech to me and I understand how they feel, when I see people post crap like the virus is fake I want them to suck on a doorknob.

No, what I am saying is that we have a long history of using non-ionized radio waves for communication.
These waves occur naturally as well, but lets ignore that for now.

Lets focus on the fact that if the spanish flu was caused due to radio being rolled out - well wouldn’t it have been on-going for oh... the past 100 years?

Are we supposed to be stuck with 4G forever? We shouldn't upgrade to faster wireless?

Actually, I've always thought there is no real point to 5g.

There will definitely be very specific fields which will benefit, but let's look at the real reason 5G is being rolled out.
Our current mobile costs are determined by various factors, but the main factor being infrastructure and upkeep thereof.

We rolled from GSM to 2g, to 3g, to 4g and now we're getting to 5g.
How does a mobile carrier justify their ludicrous data bills? "We'll we're rolling out costly new infrastructure".

I believe that 4G is more than fast enough, really, where do you need speeds greater than 50mbps whilst on the move?
- like I said, I'm sure there will be specific industries that will benefit, but ultimately the carriers are just rolling out new infrastructure so they can keep charging us what they currently are, or maybe even increase data prices.

If they installed 4G and all that remained was running costs - we'd be paying cents on the gigabyte.
But we're not...


Pragmatically speaking 5G is very impractical.
We should be looking at LiFi before 5G, but what do I know...

Not sure why you want me to look at anything on youtube to verify anything......I posted the yt vid so people don't need to go off site to hear it.

I work at a factory producing telecom stuff. We are still producing a product that converts a bunch of land-lines into an optical signal (this only to have fiber connection between stations, not to replace the copper wires at the consumer end.) We have been producing these units for decades. These things are around since the dawn of the mobile age and can only produce a low speed signal from it's 2 sfp's. At around the new milenium, we were told we would produce the last batch. I was told that again and again up till last week. My only reaction was a short laugh. Yesterday we were told there will be another batch, this time the last.



What I try to outline is, there are still huge patches of continents, take South America and Asia for example, whom are still crawling out of the land-line-age using dsl-ready electronics (the unit does not provide transmitter ready signals, it provides capability to convert old stations to plug into the modern grid and it's users to plug into a dsl internet connection from their land-line.) . 5G isn't ready to take over the world and it wont be for a long time to come. Hell, even 2G isn't fully rolled out.

I can point into the general direction of where these 2G-signal-free walhallas are to be found, if you like.

Words have power and if you keep telling scared people that other everyday people are in on a conspiracy to hurt them and others, then some people will act out and carry out god damned atrocities and violent crime...

It`s pointless to try explain the danger to these people, they cant understand. I had some hope when i joined ATS, but i am come to conclusion that people here dont seems to have slighest idea...and even start attacking to people who are trying to warn them.
