So which one of those people is running the country?? i'll wait for the response. a

I know you desperately want me to be like oh Pelosi never said that and Dems good GOP bad. but guess what, if you don't act in the best interest of the people you serve I am going to call you out regardless of party.

Pelosi saying what she did was reckless and stupid. but here's the thing she isn't in charge of the country and she isn't even in charge of SF. the very next day I believe the it was the mayor that issued a state of a emergency for SF.

As for Deblasio has he ever done anything good?? he is playing second fiddle to Cuomo atm and that is saying something. Plus as much as Cuomo has done a good job, I also have issue with certain things he has done especially when it comes to the budget he just did for NY. It was disgraceful.

BUT again none of them are in charge of the country. Trump for 4 weeks talked about how that this was nothing but a hoax and it would go away, that is inexcusable. this is the leader of the free world telling people that the virus either didn't exist or they had it under control or it would just go away. none of that was true and it cost lives and he needs to be held accountable for it. simple

Trump's son in law is a silver spoon fed brat turned slum lord. He has no business taking point on a national crisis of this magnitude. Yet another blatant short fall of the administration. Favoring nepotism over qualifications is not an appealing trait in a president.

Get over yourself OP.
The stockpile belongs to the US Federal Govt. And will be managed by the US Federal Govt. That is not hard to understand.
Jared Kushner will be a private citizen in the near future. He understands what is at stake, and more than most, understands how to manage things.

If you want to get your ire up, then get pissed at the Governors and State Legislatures and Hospital management teams that didn't properly fund for these disasters. If you want the Federal Government to manage all the states, then move to Russia or China.

Maybe what you say is true. But it matters not. JFK famously employed his family with high results.
Kushner seems to be doing a great job in many arenas. He has a completely foreign take on managing government that has produced prison reform, middle east peace deal, and many other things.

Interesting though that he is a Jew, owns a building famous for its 666 as the address in New York, and authored the middle east peace plan. That is just way too coincidental.

All party politics aside, life saving equipment sitting in a 'stockpile' when there are people dying for lack of said equipment is just plain wrong. Is it too 'socialist' to suggest sharing out the ventilators to areas in need as soon as they become available? (IE there should be none sitting in a stockpile when they belong in crisis areas).

I have a question for you, one I honestly don’t know the answer to: Has anyone in America suffering from covid19 died as a result of not having life-saving equipment available, such as mechanical ventilators? I did a search and couldn’t find a single mention of a death resulting from lack of equipment. I would think the news media and dem politicians would be all over it if it happened. I’m also wondering if anyone has died while waiting for an ICU to become available. I would truly like to know.

I haven't seen any info on that myself. Could it be a statistic some would prefer to suppress I wonder?
Even a single preventable death would be too many in my reasoning and doctors would be forced to choose who lives and who dies if there's a shortage of vital equipment at hand.
