Maybe we are in the early stages of a geomagnetic reversal. Maybe not. But they seem to occur over long periods of time and so are unlikely to prove to be much of a problem.

There is evidence to suggest this mechanism may happen a lot faster than that.

and thats winthin.. could be a lot quicker there is evidence to suggest this started back in the 1600s.

The study I linked is more recent and uses a much deeper dataset than what you quote (but didnt link). But you didn't bother to read it so you wouldn't know that.

It might dispute but that makes it evident that what you are saying is not simply game set and match is. The rate of change seen over the last couple hundred of years put strong doubt on the fact that this is a slow change.

Well look at the evidence. The shift of change over the last few hundred years. Its still speeding up and there is evidence to suggest it may happen quickly. Even at a very conserative rate of calibration this is not going to take thousands of years not is it?
