I stand corrected...

"Officer, it's me again. Yes, yes, you told me before about America using normal measurements not meters. Ha Ha, yes, you've told me that joke before, officer... she called you her ruler because you measured 12 inches ha ha hee, yes, very funny. No, no, I'm not calling you about Emerson Biggens again, this time it's something you actually should be interested in. As I was peeking out my window with my binoculars today I noticed something. I can see about 2 and a half meters of... sir? Yes, I'm real sorry, I can see about 8 *ugh* feet of the Hula-Boola-Beans coffee shop's service area and I noticed something that simply SHOCKED me. Mr Phil McAvity was walking through the former cafe area towards the door, carrying what I hope was a non-fat soy latte if he knows what's good for him and has been listening to his doctor's advice, and he... well, he... stopped and sipped his coffee WHILE STILL IN THE CAFE!!! Yes, I thought that was a clear violation of the orders instructing us to not consume food on the premises of where it was purchased! I'd expect Mr. McAvity will be brought in and Hula-Boola-Beans fined and their business license immediately pulled! Hello? Hello? Is this thing on? Hello?"

Would I snitch on businesses or my neighbors?

Absolutely not. There is no justification whatsoever for me to do that to someone.

Snitches get stitches. Perhaps some need reminded of that fact.

America is a nation founded on the rule of law, such notions as yours are in direct contradiction to that and only promotes corruption, abuse and depravity.

America was pretty much solidified after much rebellion. The rules and laws have changed throughout the past two and half centuries, and continue to change.

So, your statement is pretty much contrary to reality.

But a lot of people are acting like a bunch of Loyalists. They'd rather sell out their freedoms for a sense of comfort.

That's a prime example of today's bad parenting.

Parents need to learn to tell their kids, 'no, you aren't going outside to play, and I don't care if little Johnny from nextdoor is outside playing either.'

I thought keeping them inside playing videogames or in front of the TV were examples of today's bad parenting, but now it's letting them go outside to play? Oh you people...

The longer this farce goes on, the more I expect Allan Fundt to emerge and show me where the hidden cameras are.

I'm thinking you might need to crack open a history book. If anything America was founded on dissidence, law breaking and at times nothing more than mob rule. Fortunately, we managed to grow from that. Well- for the most part...

You completely misunderstood my point.

I was commenting on someone claiming another person can't let their children play outside because another parent will not be able to explain to their whining kids why mommy said no. I don't care what the no is for. Just because little Johnny is playing outside, going to the concert, wearing lipstick, whatever is not a reason to have to say yes to your child. And a parent absolutely shouldn't shame or blame another parent who does let little Johnny do it simply because it makes it difficult to say no to their own kid.

I have no problem with letting a kid go outside and play right now.

America didn't "grow", it just became something it wasn't before, it became the same as the enemies your founders fought to free themselves from. All good things come to an end.

America absolutely grew. We established a Federation and a Constitution but yes, we have evolved into something the Founding Father's would shudder to look at. I am one of those perpetually optimistic Americans who thinks we still have a chance to pull this from the flames.

This is straight out of the communist playbook. Neighbors spying on neighbors, family spying on family, friends spying on friends. It's actually been going on for quite some time here in the west.

Welcome to 1984.

I wonder how many of these suddenly medical experts spouting their fear mongering and "you're part of the problem(!)" would be right there in Nazi Germany giving up Jews and other "undesirables" to the Nazis.

Don't bother, I know the answer.

It's totally unrelated but does someone have the link to the database of Equifax for me?

I have no rush. I will use it for data analysis when public market executions will be the punishment for breaching Covid rules. So if I can get it by that time. Appreciated.

Not even close

I'd use or find information to give my neighbors 1001 reasons not to rat though. Everybody has skeletons

In this neck of the woods, I Know where all the county's bodies are buried. For starters, I remember encountering a young-ish unnamed married XYZ parking with an unnamed also engaged to be married ZYX. Never said a word. If my fellow citizens start getting locked up around here for merely not obeying government overlords, the mud is going to roll

Edit: the police are for emergencies, we deal with our own problems our own way
