These stories are going to become more common over the next few weeks.

There is no reason to think that America is going to do any better than the rest of the world and this has been very bad.

The coronavirus crisis in Georgia is spiraling as the mayor of Atlanta has warned that intensive care unit (ICU) beds in the city have reached capacity even though the level of the virus in the state is probably still far from its peak.

With more than 1,200 cases across the southern state, according to Georgia’s department of health, the state’s largest hospital, Grady Memorial, has been down at least 200 ICU beds since December due to a flood, a hospital staff member with knowledge of the hospital’s situation tells the Guardian.

there are people dying yes but it's not all related to covid. remember that 21 y/o old girl in France they say was healthy? she was not she died of a heart attack. she had a heart condition. there are more cases labelled covid19 and the cause of death is not connected.

Is that the one where the mother claimed she had no underlying conditions? I said to a couple of people that they can't do a postmortem that quick. But yeah there's a lot of fake news and propaganda. Gotta look for those key words like alleged. Often people don't follow up on things either.

have you seen the crying spanish doctor viral video last week? was proven a hoax, the guy wasn't a doctor at all, but a paid actor. paid by who? by those who want to keep this going as much as they want to.

Is he in work?

It could be another one of those desperate attempts to get famous and get his face out there.

the virus is real alright, the pandemic of fear

Haha fear is profit especially in the viral world. All jokes aside this is actually a huge opportunity for advertising and digital media companies. Of course people are going to use this to try and get rich.

Hell I thought wouldn't it be cool to start a campaign saying pot cures corona, I thought of the money, the fame... The consequences. So I thought better of it.

Well I am at the hotel attached to the hospital.

I am at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

It is a huge facility.

It is a ghost town.

I have been coming here for three months every Wednesday night and Thursday morning I have never seen it like this

trump is saying horrific days ahead.

I'm sure he's a germaphobe, I have to give him credit from what I've seen he seems to hold it together. It's his age group that is vulnerable.

The reactions of governments is what will eventually keep these numbers down.

We have no cure or vaccine. The only choice we have to stop the spread is to remain separated.

Lockdowns need to remain in place until there are no new cases anywhere.
That is the only time it will be safe to let down our guard.

OVID is derived from the Latin name 'Ovidius', itself derived from the Latin word 'ovis', which means 'sheep'.

sheep control. makes sense

But the word is not ovid. Its covid... Covid 19 is short for coronavirus disease 2019 caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).

I wish you all the best.

Listen to yourself, there is no amount of government that is going to save us from what is to come. Next one that says, "government is going to save us," gets pistol whipped!!😉

COVID is capitalized for a reason!! However, you are free to interpret COVID how your government overlords and scientists, paid for by governments want you to. If ya have enough funding, you can get anyone you want to say what COVID is and what it means. Get it?

That's going to be years. In a few months it'll start hitting the southern hemisphere hard. There's no stopping it's spread now, there's just controlling it.

I remain hopeful that there'll better treatments in time as well as less strain on medical services. Hopefully by winter we'll have a vaccine and a better understanding of how we'll deal with this going forward.

I'm in the UK, ignorance has been a problem but most people have stayed in doors, took appropriate steps and kept good hygiene. If ATS is anything to go by I fear for the infection rate in the US. I'm hopeful for 1-2 more months of lockdown here then an ease on things.

I don't really want to think about how bad it's going to be over the pond in 3-4 weeks.

Public transport hasn't been cancelled anywhere. You are allowed to go for a walk? Wtf is with this confusion read the rules your state put out.

Would you rather have the military black bagging us if caught out on the street?

It seems like that's what y'all conspiracy folks want funnily enough.

The lockdown is a temporary fix no more no less. The virus will still be out there, people will still have it and be asymptomatic and come next winter it will all start again. The virus doesn't know or care that the lockdown is lifted it just does what it does its not going to magically disappear in April or May or whenever, it will become something we just have to live with along with all the other viruses.

The hype does not match up with the figures. Now unless "they" know something they are keeping from us the empty hospitals and empty field hospitals speak volumes. As yet, this is not the global apocalypse in anyway shape or form except economically.

Now, with global economic collapse, my theory is that China will be superbly placed to buy up businesses & manufacturing all over the planet such as they have been doing in Canada, Australia and Europe, and continue their colonisation of Africa. Alternatively, there is the risk that many governments will possibly be bailed out by China with massive loans, just like Africa, which they cannot hope to repay, and China will want their pound of flesh for "saving them". They play the long game, they believe wholeheartedly in their agenda and more importantly so the do majority of the Chinese people.

I repeat what I've been saying that many of these "deaths" are NOT deaths from corvid 19 but from other illnesses such as diabetes, heart failure, heart attack, pneumonia, et al...some of which has been exacerbated by the virus but in most cases hasn't been the actual cause of death. 92% of deaths in Italy are people over the age of 80. The figures are no different to the usual winter deaths figures in Italy Spain and UK whose statistics are there for all to see.

I would also point out that Sweden have not gone full lockdown and are still living more or less as they were. Their infection/death rates haven't gone through the roof as expected.
They have only just banned gatherings of more than 50 people this week and the biggest step they have taken is telling the elderly to stay home if they can.

With all the paranoia about the virus, unless something drastically changes in Sweden one would have thought Sweden would be decimated It hasn't been so what does that tell us?
