Refugees from New York are already causing fear and resentment in the places they’ve fled to.

Frankly I think it's all a ploy by New York and New Jersey Democrats to infect the entire population of the United States so that innocent Conservatives can push for Trump and Congress to get their big government socialist package passed while simultaneously taking away our rights.
Face it, you got outplayed by the people you hate, enjoy your Trumpy Bucks.
No, not hard to see. I was there a few weeks; took a train into town everyday, then the subway (can’t remember the terminal) and walked a few blocks to where I worked in Queens. It was exciting and there’s so much to do and see; I’ll even admit it’s the greatest city on Earth. But I’ve been to a lot of big cities that were much cleaner and better run. And NYC is infamous for its corruption and Byzantine maze of regulations. Its infrastructure is dilapidated. It’s incredibly expensive to live there. Immigrants flock to it for some reason, I guess to live with others of the same ethnicity (more than 800 languages are spoken there). Way too many people living there, but that’s their choice. Now they’re paying for that choice and so are the rest of us.

I don't disagree with you New York is abysmally run. Most major metropolitan centers are in the US. The point is NYC isn't some one off horribly run town - it is what it is, the best us humans can do. Many places here are the same. But they are all stacked on each other - you have to take public transport to get around - your are literally next to millions.
That is not that hard to see is it?
