Intense UV of some wavelengths does. But solar UV is highly filtered by the atmosphere. It would be interesting to look for correlations though.

Have you noticed how the comet/asteroid doom porning and visions always occur 95% of the time that there are known large or bright objects upcoming in the NEO list even though they are to far away to be a risk? Hmmmm

And one doomsayer will see something like that FB post and change the story to something like an dream, a vision, or alien contact/fbi/cia etc. And people will say OMG look multiple people are saying this its freaky or must be true!! Comet C/2019 Y4 will be no closer than 72 million miles from the earth and does not cross our orbit. Asteroid 1998 OR2 due in late April will be almost 4 million miles from Earth.

Yes it can be a pretty sight kind of like Hale-Bopp was but we dont know if it will be that spectacular yet. It depends if its brightness curve flattens out or not and how much. As usual Comet C/2019 is the next comet to be used by the fear peddlers. But Halley's Comet has been much closer to us than Comet C/2019 Y4 will. Comet Hyakutake the great comet of 1996 passed MUCH MUCH MUCH closer to Earth than C/2019 Y4 will and it had the longest known tail for a comet.. No ill effects. Can you imagine the doom porn those two comets (Hyakutake/Hale-Bopp)would have produced if ATS existed then? LMAO!!!! THE END IS NIGH IT IS NIGH!

He claims the UN held an emergency meeting on Nov 9, 2019 to discuss how to hide this comet and let out a virus to cover it up. The only problem is Comet C/2019 the only one that will undoubtedly come through during this pandemic was officially discovered by ATLAS survey on December 28, 2019 a full 7 weeks after he claims this UN meeting happened. This is no doubt the comet he was trying to lie and fear monger people with but he didn't research it enough to know it was discovered after his so called emergency UN meeting that happened before the comet was even discovered. It would have been scarier if he had claimed an early Jan 2020 UN meeting instead lol. Lets not even mention the thousands of backyard astronomers who during a lock down would have a # load of time to be sky-gazing all night now!!! It would be seen and get out and cause the panic he claims they were trying to avoid ANYWAYS!!! The whole story is stupid if you think about it logically. You aren’t the first to invoke doom by asteroid impact upcoming.

Real question, would we be able to “cause” an asteroid or some type of meteor to hit the earth? In a weaponized form?

From what I gathered it's 10km in size about 6.5 or so miles. If anything it looks like Venus will pass close right behind it in the tail as it slingshots around the Sun leaving the inner solar system.

Businesses are packing up like they are leaving for good.
Mass lay offs...why are these people being laid off and not put on temporary leave like they are never coming back.

Trump is not being Trump...has beem reading from a script which is not like him. Seems like he has submitted under this cause.

Maybe there are more powerful things then countries and governments. Something is coordinating this, testing the results of shutting things down and implementing change

Thats a pretty trippy thing to dream.

Haven't dreamed in a long time, or last time it was nothing to do with the world at large. A wacky dream about a girl, that was more of a warning then anything else, a warning to myself about myself, among other things. And that dream scared me #less and still does. Much more so then the world ending.

But I think all, or not really all, but pretty much all the dreams I had and remembered that woke me up or stayed with me when I woke. Came true in one way or another.

Cant say I remember having a dream about the world ending in 2020 via asteroid. As I have not been informed of an asteroid hitting this year. Its not gonna happen, though I have been informed that the world is going to end. But everything ends sooner or latter, also the ending was not specified or even categorized, so it can mean anything. So that's like predicting its going to rain in the amazon sometime this century. But hey, asteroids are cool. One of decent size should hit this dinky planet sooner or latter, in fact it will. Its just a numbers game on a vast time table. Off course its gonna happen.

Fear is the word. And the output of most these days it seems. Dont know if that is new, or just the standard operating system of people. Nothing new on that domain either. Nothing new under the sun it seems.

I am not going to add any videos or special effects, but I will tell you about something that happened in my awake/dream state the other morning. I was just on that verge of coming full awake and I heard a loud voice in my head saying "Sky Event!!" Loud, like a voice shouting in my ear. I asked what I could do to help and was handed a basket , like a picnic basket. I opened it up and it was full of red handled scissors. I tend not to believe in any prophecies or predictions. Heard hundreds if not thousands, none have come to pass.

Look, the entire world is very uneasy at the moment. There's a pandemic, people are dying, economies are crashing, some of us are living in perpetual states of worry at the moment - will we get sick, will we have a job, will we be able to pay bills and feed ourselves, will we become police states, etc.

It would not surprise me in the slightest that this is leading to increased nightmares and more vivid dreams. That's what our sub consciousness often does in times of increased stress, and our worries often manifest themselves in the form of a doomsday event - an asteroid, a plague, whatever.

Doesn't mean it's really going to happen.

With the current crisis, many people thought to themselves "S h i t ! We are in deep S h i t!". Subconsciously they relate the s h i t t y situation to toilet paper. That explains the hoarding behavior. And there are those who buy out of fear of loosing out. No amount of toilet paper is gonna clean up this crisis.

I don’t usually give this kind of thing much credence however a few months ago I had a very vivid dream involving a similar scenario with fire coming from the sky.

The weird thing I was in a plane about to take off and a lot of the passengers were Asian. I could actually describe very well the airport, I believe it was in Taiwan.

Now i don’t think somehow I was seeing the future but it struck me as being very strange and nothing like any other dream I’ve ever had.

The mind however does conjure up all sorts of crazy visions and I generally shrug it off as being just that, my mind playing tricks on me.

This thread did however bring me back to that dream, although in my experience it was several fireballs which at the time I interpreted as missiles. I laid off playing call of duty with my lad for the rest of the week.

Quite so. However because dreams and visions often represent patterns we sense at play in the present, they could end up being at least partially accurate and when it comes to catastrophe a that's still not a good thing.

The big test is the asteroid, because if it's all just a projection that things are getting progressively worse then it won't happen because you can see why natural disasters and pandemics can cause civil strife, no amount of civil strife will cause an asteroid to hit. They're not causally connected in any way other than "things will get worse."

I guess that's why so many apocalyptic cults fail. They're right about seeing the world go progressively to hell, the supernatural event that would send us to hell never shows up because human influence only extends so far and then stops. We don't control volcanoes or asteroids, or apparently the arrival of Jesus 2.0.

But to add to it, around the same time, I also had a Rapture dream and was left behind. I was in a white, marble building by the sea. Inside, all of us were sitting on the ground waiting. We had no idea what we were waiting for, or why we were there. I asked someone next to me, did the Rapture happen? Yes, and at that moment, everyone knew all my sins and wanted to kill me. Although every one of them had sin, there was no value of human life, only judgement and violence. I felt I would be murdered by those around me. Dream ends.
