Can't really find any recent news about it which is a bit strange, is no one watching it anymore? We must have amateur astromoners about that can track it.
Maybe the pandemic is just a distraction so we don't see the alien invasion lol
Seriously though if anyone can find any recent news on it, it would be appreciated, 3 days ago is the most recent I can find.

If anyone has a telescope EarthSky show you where to point it.

In Greek mythology it says Atlas’ name is of unsure – probably pre-Greek – origin, but the Ancient Greeks and Romans seem to have thought it had been derived from a similar-sounding Greek root with the meaning of “very enduring.”

Which is synchronistic considering it was named atlas after the telescope that found and not because of how it has endured even after becoming far brighter than forecasted... Or has it, start panicking if you see 2 suns in the sky. They are very erratic remember.

Impactor perimeter exclusive to the Atlantic ocean...nothing but a Pre-Cursor for Nibiru and its Cyclical destruction.

When was your last vision quest Pocahontas?

My wife is allowed peyote (religious exemption) and we have a sweat lodge on the property.

So the answer to that might surprise you.

Come on people, why the ridiculous doom porn on this? I thought we were about denying ignorance?

Check it, go here —-> Atlas Comet Info and scroll to the bottom of the page. There you will find the projected path of this comet as it travels through our solar system.

Between January 2013 and December 2100 the closest approach of Comet C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS) to Earth happens on Sat May 23 2020 at a distance of 0.78113215 Astronomical Units, or 116,855,706 kilometers.

Atlas is a green/blue imo but other reporting on it refers to it as green.

You must be new here.
Comets are bad. Really, really bad. Everybody knows that.

It is just outside the Big Dipper (Ursa Major) , so a scan in there with Binoc's picks it up.
Hope this puppy puts on a show, or it is blowing what it's got presently. It must be super loose, the coronal atmosphere is huge and disbursed.

Comets are still bad.

Almost tempted to go in the attic and get the old C-8. Probably needs a good cleaning, but I kept it in it's original case.

Comets are SO bad that you can't even name a pizza place after them without a controversy.

And they killed the dinosaurs.

Worst. Thing. Ever.

Agreed.
I, for one, fairly pissed my life away so can't really justify hoping for more or regretting less.
And, as far as manners of death go, one can't really beat joining an entire species in mutual extinction!

Ppphhtt...

I'm just me and I have life stories.

I'm pretty sure that there are a lot more interesting people than me here on ATS with much better stories.

All they need to do is take the time to share theirs too.

So I've read but you can't threaten me with what I've dreamed
about. I'm compelled and thankful for the exchange here.
I hope Atlas gives us a bright blue show like we haven't seen.
And that it baffles the minds of the scientific community
beyond their reasoning. They could use a nice jolt to let them
know they aren't gods.

Respect
