the patient that Doctor OZ interviewed
?
Doctor Oz? Isn't he the guy who has, unfortunately, already a negative charlatan sort of image? Like Jim Bakker?
But as Oz’s fame grew, it became clear that healing was, in fact, not his only priority. In 2014, a team of medical researchers released a report proving that 60% of advice given on Dr. Oz’s TV show lacked scientific basis. Soon afterward, 1,300 doctors signed an open letter calling him “a quack and a fake and a charlatan” whose “advice endangers patients.”

Y'know, over the last 3-4 years I've heard people say that Trump could cure cancer and people would still find something wrong with it. I'm actually starting to believe we're seeing something along those lines in real life.
Trump comes out and says this is a good idea to look into, some idiot does something stupid all because some ingredients are similar, and now many people don't wish to speak about this concept anymore all because of that. It's all being tested, seems to be doing decently, so what will happen if this proves to have positive results?? How many of you, if infected, won't take these meds all because of TDS?? Or, excuse me, because someone died from it??
Some of the replies I've seen in this thread are mind-boggling. We have here something worth looking into, yet people don't want anyone to look into it because someone took fish tank meds.
Trump will never cure cancer. He appears to have limited medical knowledge, he doesn't work in the field, he has no science or similar degree. At best, he's a game show host who made some gains investing large sums of inherited money.
Well it’s taken a pandemic, a 35% drop in stock markets, social distancing and a stay at home order to bring the economy back to Obama’s high water mark.

If you're not a doctor (thankfully you aren't since you didn't even read the OP), you should probably keep your political comments to yourself since the OP was about what the doctor had to say, not what channel it appeared on.
A doctor preaching a drug combination with no experimental backing that people have died from in other parts of the world.
was a REAL DOCTOR on a news broadcast sharing his medical findings. Who gives a sh*t what show it is if it's coming from a legit doctor with more than anecdotal evidence of a treatment protocol for something that is wrecking the world?
You should give a ****. People have already died from blindly following the Presidents advice about this same drug. If you actually trust a political talk show to give you accurate medical advice you’re already hovering around disaster. You can’t just believe what a TV show with an agenda tells you about anything, much less something that directly impacts your health.
I happen to be one of the people in the high risk group, so things from my doctor's perspective and mine just went from "you likely will die from this if you get it" to "this treatment will likely keep you from dying". I'm sure others, like myself, could care less what channel or news anchor reported it.
I guess that’s on you. There’s currently people laid up on their deathbed from getting medical advice from politicians. And you’re here trying to encourage people to do the same thing, albeit from a political talk show.

Forbes (considered a right-leaning publication) is reporting:
Results from a controlled clinical trial from China on the use of hydroxy chloroquine as a treatment for Covid-19 have shown no significant differences in health outcomes between the control group and patients who received the experimental drug.

. so what is your point?

More good news:
New York hospitals treating coronavirus patients with vitamin C
“The patients who received vitamin C did significantly better than those who did not get vitamin C.”
“It helps a tremendous amount, but it is not highlighted because it’s not a sexy drug.”

This outrageous!!!
Any information about success stories like this should be censored.
It is not a good idea for the general population to know there are meds that are helping.
That would be wasting a good crisis, the governor of Nevada got it right, make the people suffer because President Trump mentioned these meds as a good start!
Deny the people, make them suffer, dammit!
