Doesn't James Comey look like he just woke up after a long sleep?
And is talking gibberish for some reason.

This is off topic but I would really like your opinion and it’s relevant to us all.
Trump just said we, the U.S. will take an ownership position in some of the company’s we “bail” out.
Doesn’t that fundamentally change the definition of our country?
What does that make us.

Well this is a turn up for the books...
The British PM, Boris Johnson, the Health Secretary, Matt Hancock AND the Chief Medical Officer have ALL tested positive for Coronavirus and as I post are replaced on the daily presser by Michael Gove, the Deputy Health Secretry and the deputy Chief Medical Officer!
BBC PM's statement on testing positive
A few thoughts on this:
1) These three were doing the daily pressers, so the implication is that they caught it off the press?
2) Michael Gove was one of Johnson's competitors to be PM,
3) Have they been detained for scamming the public?
4) This means the whole UK cabinet has been exposed, together with the COBRA emergency committee - which includes military and intelligence heads, I think.
5) The PM was in parliament for PM's questions on Wednesday so many MPs could have been exposed.
Watch out for a large chunk of the country's leadership "going in to isolation"!!
Seeing America from both sides of the fence brings the potential for more balanced empathy.

A bit complicated I think. 2008 the bailout for GM etc. had folks railing against the notion they could just take government money and, then, take the profits too. Leaving all the rest of us to pay off the compound interest. So folks HATED the idea that the government gave money with nothing in return.
If government gives money AND takes an ownership position like a Venture Capitalist, Bank or Shareholder, same folks yell Communism, Socialism or other ism.
In both cases, those doing the yelling are the plebes, those paying the compound interest. Consider that.
In this case there is a key factor. Is the US still a corporation, or is it government? Has the FED been brought to heel or is it business as usual? I would contend that if it all were business as usual the 2008 model would be repeated in both form and word and it is clearly not.
The key things that make this all different. FED 0.25 interest rate and Oil 20ish a barrel.
Trust The Plan, as the past cannot be used to reference the present reality effectively. New territory.
Note: those who think they do not think they live in a "socialist" world haven't been paying attention. WE don't even have money, WE live with company script and pay our energy at every increasing rates to cover the never ending interesting on that company script. And if one does not pay, confiscation, jail, and worse. Delusion using abstract university "ism" theory is a helluva drug.
