What does wake up mean? Where does magic happen, where do the "aliens" live?
Personally I think, sure that could be it, if people start listening to their inner dialogue a lot of things might start happening.
That's the problem revelation/disclosure has, it requires reflected attention to your inner workings that's where god(s)/aliens got their interface with us, our world...
Now people are maybe forced to look inside, but still... plenty of distraction available, lots of opportunities for misinterpretation
As far as I can tell they are still more busy with sending instead of receiving.
