Can someone please post this guys wrap sheet. I'm interested in seeing his criminal record and what he was awaiting trial for.
A conviction on a rape charge for Brian Nichols would have meant life in prison plus several years. After being brought from the jail to the courthouse for his second trial in as many weeks Friday morning, Nichols grabbed a deputy's weapon in a corridor. He walked into the courtroom, opened fire, and killed a judge and court reporter. He later mortally wounded a deputy, witnesses said.
According to court workers, Nichols had previously tried to sneak weapons into the courthouse while being transported there from the Fulton County jail.
Aside from a rape charge stemming from an incident in August, Nichols is charged with sodomy, possession of a machine gun, possession of a handgun, and possession of a large quantity of marijuana. His first trial last week ended with a hung jury. A second trial started Monday.

CNN showed a list of his crimes but I could not find them, trust me he has a rap sheet a mile long. Drugs, guns, Sex and theft and that is just for starters.
CNN just gave the list again add false imprisonment, driving w/o insurance, driving w/o a license.

I'm kind of confused about the security here. Getting into any courthouse, or out of it, there's a single file way past the metal detector that's always manned. I know he got the hardware inside, but he still had to come out that way, past another guard?

I am just amazed that one, he got a gun from a deputy, and that two, he made it out of the court house!

Is this above scenario plausible, possible, or improbable? Opinions?
A state court judge revealed new details about how an inmate was able to get access to a gun and shoot four people, killing three, a judge, a deputy and a court reporter.
Article Snipped a portion to remain within forum guidlines. Followed by
"[Nichols] overpowered the female deputy, shot her and took her keys, took her gun, and took her ammunition, and calmly walked across the public hallway," said Judge Schwall.
According to the account, Nichols then walked into Judge Barnes' chambers and handcuffed the deputy, stole his gunbelt, and then went in the courtroom and shot the judge and shot the court reporter.
"My deputy told me that that they clearly felt like that he, the inmate, had a clear intention to kill the judge, that's what he was going to do," said Schwall."

They've just located the Accord in an Atlanta garage.
The suspect apparently isn't in the car.
Somehow I think he's far, far away by now.
