My friend Nicole

She's is one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met. The type of
women who could calm a violent temper in the middle of an angry
fit. She commands respect with the slightest touch. And could stop
any man in his tracks if she slightly elevates her voice. She knows no
jealousy and no one she knows could be jealous of her. But she is
just a friend I've known since 94.

Another friend who over the years has developed cancer. Stage 4
pancreatic motha- effen, gawd damn cancer. So today my friend
was excited to get down to the City of Hope and get her treatment.
She's been feeling quite ill the past week and bless her heart she
couldn't wait to feel better.

This is what has me wanting to take hostages and become a TV star.
She drove all the way down there today a good 2 hours. She couldn't
get thru the door. They turned her away because of the virus. My friend
is dying of cancer and I'm so angry right now. What no one could even
call her and give her a heads up? I mean I'm fighting back angry tears
as I'm writing this. I told her WTF? You might as well try to heal yourself!

It's bad enough seeing her suffer but now she has to wait a whole
Friggen month? How brutal is that for the last person on earth who
should be going thru this? God this world is just so wrong! How do
those people even sleep working thru a system that treats people
people that way? Any way I had to vent some where so that's why
you're reading this ATS. If I could trade places with her? On my skin I
would.

i have an appointment - 02APRIL 2020 - its " just routine - for an underlying condition - and its postponed - i get a letter 1 hour ago - unless i notice one or more from a list of symptoms [ i should phone them for advice if anything on list is evident ] - i should just get on with my life - and the clinic will get back to me " sometime " - but dont conntact them unless -

its not anything remotely related to N19COVID

but it seems to me utter incompetance - that your mates clinic is closed - yet patients not informed

That is really terrible.

Meanwhile, I have a physician who insists I come in for a normal maintenance check despite zero issues and being stable for years with the hypothyroidism. And I'm in at very at-risk category for COVID-19 too. She refuses to postpone to the Fall. I don't know what to do. I think this will still be going full-bore in June. I guess show up in a respirator, full face mask, and gloves? Stripping off clothes into the washer and heading straight to shower?

I just really can barely stand the medical profession at this point. I am incredibly grateful to all the good ones out there, but geez there are so many losers.

Baking soda protocol. I was diagnosed a year ago with pancreatic cancer and I did the baking soda protocol before I started chemo and from my first CT scan my cancer Has not grown one bit

Maybe your friend should Find another doctor ? Or another cancer center ... I don’t know but it sounds like not a very nice place to have treatments ....in the mean time , medical marijuana may ease her pain ?.... or is there a Chinese herbalist around who may help ?,,,, I don’t know ... but digbi to tour oorikna and keep digging ...I feel badly for tue friend and hope she finds some relief soon . And Tell
Her to take her high dose of vitamin c as she is immune compromised .

She has my prayers as well. I'm so angry this happened to her. I understand why they feel the need to close temporarily for the virus. But simple email or phone call is not too much to expect.

I've been doing some quick checking, and yes, colloidal silver is effective against pancreatic cancer, but I cannot find a protocol or dosage or anything. This would probably depend on the silver level in the colloidal silver, which is measured in "parts per million," and abbreviated as "ppm". I hope someone can help with that. It might also be difficult (impossible) to find. I just checked my go to site (Vitacost.com) and they are completely sold out. But keep trying at reputable places.

I would also suggest looking at high dose Vitamin C. I don't know if any drip bars would be open now, where she could receive IV Vitamin C in mega high doses. Liposomal Vitamin C is probably next best, but that might be hard to come by too. It is sold out at Vitacost, but I did find some on Amazon. If all else fails, ascorbic acid is cheap and (hopefully) plentiful.

Consider medical marijuana. If she lives in a state where recreational marijuana is legal, she can make her own oil. If there is only medical marijuana, it might be a problem obtaining a card at this point.

Have to take a step back sometimes and think about things. People on a plane going down are worried about the plane crashing. The pilot is not worried about the plane crashing. The pilot is worried about the engine loss and going through procedures. She has serious cancer but, maybe that's not the most imminent threat to her life with a weakened immune system. If she gets the virus going to that appointment her problems just got switched around. If she goes to the appointment and dies of the virus in a week you would get it.
