Friday, March 13, 2020 (Friday the 13th for Joe)

To reduce the spread of CoronaVirus-19, medical experts suggested to Democrat Presidential Candidates Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, that they reduce or eliminate rallies and town-halls with live people in attendance.

Former Vice President eagerly complied. Tonight was his team's first crack at a virtual, streaming Rally/Town Hall.

The target was voters in Illinois, whose Democratic Primary is this coming Tuesday.

Former Vice President Joe Biden's first "virtual town hall" was a technical calamity.

His campaign wanted those who attended to be able to ask him questions.

The start time of Friday's "virtual town hall" was pushed back by two hours -- and then it still started 15 minutes late.

As those on "Zoom" waited to watch, the video alternated between confused-looking Democratic Sens. Tammy Duckworth and Dick Durbin of Illinois.

The event started with brief remarks from Durbin, who wasn't visible to those watching on Zoom.

Then Biden came on and he was visible, but no one could hear him.

None of it was being broadcast on Facebook Live as intended, leaving some who had planned to watch it on that platform, confused.

The first person who was invited to ask a question, instead offered a comment: "Mr. Biden's speech was garbled the entire time!"

The campaign tried a second person -- who had apparently dropped off.

As the third questioner began, Biden asked, "Am I live?"

As the fourth started, he asked, "Am I on camera?"

Finally, after that answer, Biden's team had figured out its technical difficulties, and started the broadcast on Facebook Live, almost immediately seeing the audience jump to 5,000. Audience member Maureen signaled that she had a question.

"Maureen?" a staffer asked, as the audience waited for her question.

"Maureen, are you there?" Biden asked.

About two minutes and 20 seconds into the Facebook Live video, Biden walked off camera.

He was replaced by an "Illinois for Biden" sign, as he answered a final question unseen.

Four minutes and 31 seconds in, the Facebook Live stream ended, the Zoom feed shut off, and the event was over.

When I worked in the corporate environment 20 years ago, we had 2-way interactive live streaming video conferences.

What could have caused so many snafus for the Biden team, with such a time-tested technology?

Going as planned. Ignore the needs of the common folks, make them beg, borrow and steal then cast them in irons. Biden needs to go and go fast to an island where there is only money to be eaten.

I guess we'll have to rely on news broadcasters to do the campaigning for the Democrats. They do a good job of singing Biden's praises, so it just might work.

I'm sure he's thinking of ways his family can cash-in on some of the $40 Billion CoronaVirus emergency money.

That's what I'm afraid of and not only that, will we see Biden in person starting today?
Remember we were able to keep Reagan out of the lime light due to his mental capacity.

Yesterday, after Joe Biden presented his plan for combatting the "CoronaVirus disaster", CNN pundits were creating things to make Joe's plan sound logical. They certainly try hard...that's 4 sure!

Biden will be seen on TV (CNN) Sunday night, debating Bernie Sanders for 2 hours. Since both have health issues, it will be interesting to see which one crashes first.

I see what they're doing. Good way to keep Joebama O'Biden from misspeaking and embarrassing himself for the Nth time. They won't be able to hide his failing mind forever though.

I would have thought that Joe O'biden and his campaign would be technically savvy, I guess not.

Building a website is much different than getting a strategy together.
And also I highly doubt you grandson could put together a website of that magnitude.
Let’s be real dude.

Sure a lot of silence from the you know whos on this site regarding what an absolute trainwreck farce this guy is.
I couldn't tell anybody with a straight face I supported this guy for POTUS after cheerleading the tactics used by the Dems against Trump the past few years.
It's truly embarrassing.

That OP is hilarious

I remember saying that I can’t wait to see their candidates. I must say I’m not disappointed.

After every single one of the leftists on this site and all over every social media platform screeched for months on end that their candidate will absolutely NOT be white. Not be a male. Not be straight and not be rich........they field an incompetent never-was who seems to have an even more incompetent campaign team.

Looking forward to this election with a smug Nick Sandmann grin on my face

youre right, it might could take him a week or two, and would still cost 1/1000 of the cost.

He builds and maintains websites contracted for the state of Texas and oklahoma, hes contracted

But yeah im sure you know much much more than he does i should take your word instead

Dont care what you think, go ask any webdev if they could have done the site for millions cheaper and more effective

If you had any idea of how it works you wouldnt have piped up saying that, because youd get my point

The gov doesnt know what its doing, full stop, and they only allocate funds to their preferred people, who are more often than not behind the private sector

Doubt that?

Then ask any 4 letter agency why they defer to Google and FB and Apple for their information gathering and tracking
