All ontario schools to close for 2 weeks after march break.

Ontario government announced late Thursday afternoon that after consultation with Dr. David Williams, the Ontario Chief Medical Officer of Health, along with experts at the Covid-19 command table, the Minister of Education Stephen Lecce, Minister of Health Christine Elliott, and Premier Doug Ford issued a Ministerial Order to close all publically funded schools from March 14 to April 5, 2020.

The kids are cheering in Ontario. Their parents are freaking out, there will be a lot of antidepressants and anti-anxiety meds prescribed to parents there in the next month or so.

Trudeau is obviously not testing for Covid enough.

Just got the news that all schools here are suspended for at least 2 weeks starting tomorrow. So the kids will be at home for the next 4 weeks. Some good old family time...

Stuck at home for an extra 2 weeks with the kids, screw that , getting this virus would be safer than that horror show.

The schools in the county where I used to live are closed until the 20th. My alma mater, as of today, has started doing all their classes digitally.

Meanwhile, here in West Virginia everything is going along like business as usual since we don't have a *cough* confirmed case *cough.*

Im up at Lac Des Iles mine.
We just got a letter from our GM saying security is going to be monitoring the kitchen making sure people wash their hands and use the hand sanitizer.

Who in their right mind wouldn't be washing their hands, to begin with!

Murder Bay is right lol.

I'm sort of in a decent neighborhood - Across from Hillcrest Park.

But still, dead beats lurking around checking people's doors.
Both vehicle and home.
I refuse to let my kids walk anywhere after dark.
Never will I let them take the city bus.

How many methadone clinics do we have now?
I swear there's at least one or two on every main street.

Sickening place.

Im glad i live out in lappe. Very little crime.

Oddly enough my best friend growing up is buried In the lappe cemetery.

Not sure how Old you are or how long you've been in lappe,
But in 2001 there was a murder on machar St.
That was My friend Markku Hyena.

Race relations in the city were very, very tense at that time.
The guy who did it is a member of that Indian gang, Native Syndicate.

For a while there, things got pretty crazy when we were kids.

ETA: but ya, that's crazy. T Bay is pretty small.
What are the chances of me randomly running into two people now from our area.

Trudeau may actually have it. he is apparently in quarantine due to his wife having symptoms after returning from Europe.

We made the mistake of allowing our 13 yr old (12 at the time) to bring his Xbox into his room.
Thank crap for parental controls or else we would never see him.
