Please point to me the incredibly high numbers of people infected from flying. You can't because those numbers don't exist. You can't even point to high numbers of pilots and stewardesses infected while working, and they're in and around planes *all the time*.

On the other hand ... you can point to high numbers of people infected from being on cruise ships. Those I would think twice about.

Sure, there is a risk of getting stuck right next to someone with this stuff, but that's the same problem you have no matter where you are. It's not a special risk to a plane. If that's what you're worried about, you may as well not go anywhere and any time to avoid other people entirely.
