You Cannot Escape the Coronavirus — Get Over It

You heard me right. You cannot escape this virus. So stop freaking out! There’s no need to buy 10 years supply of toilet paper, water and food. No need to halt travel plans. No need to live your life any other way than — normal.

Yes, if you are 70+ and have a weak immune system, maybe you should worry. But what good would it do? Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean it won’t get ya’.

At some point, every one of us will come in contact with this virus. The people that are healthy will have nothing to fear. The people that aren’t — only have a max 14% fatality rate. These people could die from anything at any time.

The media’s fear mongering over this is downright ridiculous. Buy into their propaganda and find yourself depressed and worried for your life. Again, just cause your paranoid doesn’t mean it won’t get you.

The only way this virus is affecting me is financially. Which sucks fu##ing big time! I work in tourism. We’ve already seen a decline in calls — in peak season. I had a woman who wouldn’t shake my hand yesterday because of this sh!t. Then, I proceeded to serve her food, touched just about everything she touched, took cash from her, the list goes on... STUPID!

6 weeks ago, we had a group cancel a tour because of Kobe’s helicopter crash. Wait what?!?! WTF does a helicopter crash have to do with riding in a limo?

People are stupid. People are crazy. Don’t Be one of the fools to buy into to this doom porn.

P.S. This is coming from a guy who’s best friend is a doctor who majored in microbiology. He says we should worry. I DON’T BUY IT! You can doom porn me all day long about this.

Prediction: less than 50k people will die in the US from this virus. Those same 50k people would have died from something else had it not been the Corona.

In short, F##K Coronavirus, the MSM, AND the horse they rode in on!!!

Precaution and panic are not the same thing. This virus is worse than a flu and since vulnerable people are at serious risk we should be cautious about what we do for a while. Telling people to do things as normal is as misguided as fighting granny for a pack of TP. Precautions must be taken because it isn't about you, but about those around you who are vulnerable. We should be doing what we can to minimize exposure.

probably true. but you can still protect yourself as best you can, you don't have to force yourself to fall ill. and as for the media, they only broadcast what people want to see: extremes, catastrophes, sensations. but the media do something useful: they inform. and that's important. this virus is far from over. and if you suddenly find yourself in quarantine, you'll be happy to have some supplies. i have to admit i haven't bought anything yet.

No, I don’t think this is a joke. I was a doom porn master for 25 years. However, I no longer practice that ideology.

My father is 70. Just had a heart procedure. Works in tourism in a town that gets 4.5 million tourists a year. Many of which are Chinese. Bus loads of them every day.

Am I worried that my father will get this? No, not at all.
