was wondering everyone's thoughts o n this theory that has been around for quite a long time. Germs dont cause disease

We do not catch diseases. We build them. We have to eat, drink, think, and feel them into existence. We work hard at developing our diseases. We must work just as hard at restoring health. The presence of germs does not constitute the presence of a disease. Bacteria are scavengers of nature...they reduce dead tissue to its smallest element. Germs or bacteria have no influence, whatsoever, on live cells. Germs or microbes flourish as scavengers at the site of disease. They are just living on the unprocessed metabolic waste and diseased, malnourished, nonresistant tissue in the first place. They are not the cause of the disease, any more than flies and maggots cause garbage. Flies, maggots, and rats do not cause garbage but rather feed on it. Mosquitoes do not cause a pond to become stagnant! You always see firemen at burning buildings, but that doesn't mean they caused the fire... click below for full article

So all those lovely chemical and biological weapons our respective governments have tucked away are a complete and utter waste of time and monies?

Illness is caused by Infection, often the first step occurs when bacteria, viruses or other microbes cause disease to enter your body and begin to multiply.

Diseases occur when the cells in your body are damaged as a result of infection hence the first signs and symptoms of an illness appear.

if you read the whole article. the gist is that there are billions of germs we are exposed to all the time. But we dont get sick all the time. We get sick due to a weakened immune system

Not every pathogen that enters the body results in illness.

Our bodies come equipped with immune systems to fight off foreign agents, however, pathogens have the ability to adapt and evolve much more quickly than the immune system can, which means that pathogens sometimes have the upper hand when it comes to fooling the body's defenses.

One way that pathogens evade the immune system is by hiding within the body's healthy cells. Additionally, some people have weakened immune systems that make it harder for them to resist the effects of an invading pathogen.

Germs cause illness, if you kill the germs the illness goes away hence the discovery of Penicillin.

This is exactly right. That's why you should never use that hand sanitizer. It just kills all of the protective germs and opens yourself up for an invasion.
Being covered in your own germs and secretions is key to surviving any onslaught of infections going around.
This is not sarcasm. Quit using soap and shampoo! just use hot water. Your oily hair will adjust in about a week and quit producing oil and you will be much healthier.

I think there is a happy medium to be found.

Our bodies are kind of a Yin and yang scenario where an infection is concerned.

Balance is the ticket to any stable system after all.

People in the middleages thought the same, they thought that hygiene would cause illnes.

They also had a live expectancy of under 40 years - go figure.

Which is usually caused by viruses/germs/bacteria etc.

If we're exposed to all kinds of germs all the time but don't get sick except when exposed to a small number of them, that would seem to indicate that our immune systems are actually strong, not weak. What makes us susceptible to some pathogens and not others?

Perhaps something having to do with the germs, themselves, and not our own immune systems which are usually robust enough to fight off seas of bad germs.

This is almost on par with flat earth theory.

Same level of idiocy, but with one big difference. Contrary to this rediculous theory, flat earth has no potential to harm anyone - except total retardation ofcourse, which both have in common.

What incredible idiocy. Weakened immune system? Immune to what? Germs, a/k/a bacteria and viruses, thats what. I you are shot with a bullet and your ceramic vest ails, the vest didnt kill you, the bullet did.

Germs DON'T cause illness ... people cause illness!

As do bats, pangolins, evil spirits, aerosol mucus, plastics, fast food, candy, curses and mad cows.

At some point, it wouldn't surprise me to know germ theory has more dimensions to it and energies are tied to health and the cause and effect reversal IS outside the box thinking and admirable just for that ...

but I'll keep washing my handsies and supplementing vit c for the short term, at least.

You are correct. All these morons have been so brainwashed.

If your immune system is strong you won’t succumb to a microbe.

Otherwise. This novel coronavirus would have a 100% infection rate. And a much higher death rate.

But it doesn’t.

All of those people are blind to this new virus. Some people get sick others don’t.

It’s not that germs don’t cause disease. It’s that they are not the root cause. They are only able to take hold if they make it past the defenses. Then the ability of the body to fight it off determines your ability to stay alive.

No, they can literally see bacteria and virii destroy cells and in many cases know exactly how and why specific bacteria and virii cause damage to the body.

We have these things called microscopes, they let us see teeny tiny things and actually watch these things.....actually you know what?
